That's good, please post your results. Also, I am sure you will notice a difference at the track, after all, that is where it matters:tup:

last i saw was #669 being shipped last friday. I checked my invoice and my PO# is actually 672! I orginally thought i was 673 or 674 so that was a nice surprise. I havent gotten an email charging me the remaining balance or a tracking # yet. I feel it coming real soon though :happydance:

Based on the production schedule trends of 10 per week, I would check your credit card... UPS may have dropped the ball on the shipping email again.

I don't think they're doing quite 10 per week...

More like 5-6.

I'm 706 and my expected date according to Tony is April 22-May 8th.

Timmyrath 02-22-2013 12:19 PM

Hmm yeah I definitely would have thought that #672 would have shipped by now

Well, 661 shipped on the 8th and 669 shipped on the 15th. So at a minimum its 8 per week.

Regardless, my original point still holds and 672 has likely shipped.

I thought we were supposed to get an email from tony when our exhaust is gonna be built so that he can notify us that they are charging the rest?

I can't speak for Tony's process, but here is how mine went...

Placed the order over the phone and gave Tony CC info and he charged the deposit at that time. 10 weeks later, on the first week of my shipping window, I got the tracking email from UPS. I then checked my card online and the remainder had been billed.

When you purchased it he gives you the choice, after your exhaust has been built he'll ship it out and charge your account the remainder amount and you'll receive your tracking #, or you can tell him to call you first once it's ready and let you know it's finished and to get the go ahead to charge the rest. I opted for option 2.

hmm... I remember telling Tony to notify me when he was ready to charge my card. I checked my account and there hasnt been anything taken out of it yet. I called him and left a voicemail so i'll just wait and see what he says to know exactly whats going on. All i know is that exhaust should be coming soon and im ready to put that thing on haha

On my invoice it says 2/20 - 3/8/2013 so I'm still within that time frame.

Andrew,

I received your voicemail and pm. Your exhaust was completed on Friday and will be shipping out tomorrow. I will pm you as soon as it ships.

Thanks, Tony

677 can't come soon enough! I haven't been this excited in a long time.

I'm #688! knowing that 672 is shipping today, a rate of 8-10 a week gives me about 1.5-2 weeks. I called Tony last week just to make sure, haha. Looking forward to it.

I did mine under my carport with a few hand tools, floorjack and jack stands. I'm in no way a mechanic, i removed the old and installed the FI catback in about 3hrs. I spent a lot of time getting the car up in the air. I had to use the stock Z jack just to get the car high enough to fit a normal jack under. So without that delay you should be able to do it in alot less time.

Niche79 02-26-2013 02:04 AM

had 3 guys volunteer to do mine as soon as it arrives mid april. All they asked was beer, thats cheap labor and im totally ok with that!

Sales@F.I. Inc. 02-28-2013 10:59 AM

Good morning guys! Just wanted to make a little post to introduce myself, my name is Blake and I am the newest addition to F.I. Inc. I have known Tony and Danny for quite some time, ever since I purchased my CBE/TPs from them for my G37. Believe it or not I actually had the first set of CF mufflers ever! Well times changed and I moved on from my G37, and got out of the car scene for a little while. Fast forward a few years and I picked up a 370Z.. I had not talked to Tony in a while however we still had a good relationship. I jumped on the forums and PMd Tony for a price on an CF CBE, and TPs. We got to talking and long story short, my car was chosen as the prototype TT car. :happydance: While we were going through the paces on the TT kit, we (Tony, Danny, and I) started talking about a job opportunity. I have always had a passion for cars, and ultimately knew I wanted to be in this industry however easier said than done just walking away from a job that was paying me well. I went through some injuries and personal things and actually ended up more or less losing my job because of these issues. Some time had gone on since we had discussed the possible job, but when speaking with Tony I asked him if the offer is still on the table to bring me in for sales/marketing and shipping/receiving. After some talking to ensure we were all on the same page they decided to bring me in! I am very excited to be here and look forward to being able to provide as much support for you guys as possible. I am being brought up to speed as quickly as possible and hope to be able to answer ANYTHING you can throw at me shortly. I will also do my best to bring the updated build/ship list back in the near future as I know how much everyone appreciated that. If you have any questions don't hesitate to contact me directly and I will do my best to personally answer it.

Thank you, Blake

Kabestro 02-28-2013 04:16 PM

Welcome Blake, that updated list would be awesome, my HFC/CBE is a longs way off from shipping but I need that list :eekdance: jejeje

Well, dyno'd in 5th gear tonight... basically the same results as previously in 4th, but a much higher speed to hit peak (172mph vs. 125). Best I could get was 299whp and 250wtq (in 4th). Omar at Uprev even said they dyno tune in 4th on the AT . Would have loved to have surpassed that 300 mark... but oh well, i realize that I'm losing ~10% hp via the torque converter and a few hp in my Takeda CAI vs. Stillen's. Either way, I'm still in love with the exhaust regardless and the butt dyno definitely approves!

m3chhawk 02-28-2013 11:05 PM

Because we could always use another sound clip...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=3MtzbLJqATk

Thanks again Tony. Took my time, with no lift, about an hour and a half. Easy as can be ZERO problems. I don't know that anything automotive has ever went this smooth. Instructions, hardware, packaging all top notch.

Now if there wasn't two feet of snow on the ground....

In that case let's hear that exhaust note while drifting around in some snow!

Infamous 03-01-2013 11:55 AM

I have the same set up coming, plus hfc's! I'm even more excited after hearing that sound clip.

bmarcinczyk14 03-02-2013 07:59 PM

I'll be giving Tony a call shortly to change my order for HFC's to resonated TP's! I WANT BEAST SOUND!

KaienZ34 03-02-2013 10:19 PM

Then go with long tube headers and non-res catback.

Na that'll be too loud for my taste. I think the resonated tp's to go with my 18 in. resonated cbe should give me that little extra volume I want over the HFC's.

One question guys, I don't know if this has been discussed before, there are too many pages in this thread to read. The stock exhaust has two flexible sections on each side, the F.I. doesn't have any, is there a chance of breaking the exhaust for being to rigid?

I doubt it, i've never heard of that happening. There's something like 700 exhaust units out there with no reports of this.

That's on the stock Y pipe.. which the FI exhaust eliminates. Nothing to worry about.

I actually prefer exhausts that don't have the flexible sections. My last car had an aftermarket exhaust with flexible sections, and those areas were the first places to deteriorate, rust, and fail. Granted, my car was exposed to several harsh winters in upstate New York and North Dakota. The freezing temperatures and salty roads no doubt played a factor in my exhaust's early demise. It's just something to keep in mind if you live in an area with extremely cold climates.

If you live in a warm climate, you won't have to worry about this.

Kabestro 03-03-2013 06:00 PM

Thanks for the info guys...:tiphat:
