Not from Tony!

NBZ34 01-03-2013 07:40 PM

Tony told me that he didn't want to sell me the exhaust just because of the number. Lol

Just signed on today!

After talking with Tony this afternoon, looks like i'll have an exhaust to install sometime around the middle of April....I've been wanting to commit for the last several months...Can't wait..... Went with all stainless including the 12" resonator...
Hey Tony, i forgot to give your guy my call name here on the forum.....
Been dealing with having 2 names most of my life...Can't thank you enough for your help....Already!!!
Pat

Ordered my system this evening. Stainless 18" resonated CBE and the resonated HFCs. I've been putting it off for a long time, but it was definitely time to pull the trigger.

I spoke with Danny (Tony's business partner). He was highly knowledgable, professional and really pleasant to talk with. I am supposed to speak with Tony soon to tie up a few loose ends.

I'm very excited about receiving and installing this setup. Haven't heard too much about their resonated HFCs in conjunction with their CBE system, so I'm anxious to hear and see the results.

^^^I ordered the same set up

Number 627 installed today. God damn is it loud! My Z sounds like an absolute beast now. It's actually quite comical seeing the looks on other drivers' faces. I did make sure to pull off the throttle when I saw Johnny Law, lol.

Which I did. I liked having the unique order # so much, that I paid it all up front.

It will quiet down/deepen as it gets more miles on it. Glad to see another satisfied F.I. rocker.

Went with the standard CBE setup with polished stainless cans and 18" resonators. I really like the look of the shiny mufflers on the back of my solid red Z, looks really high end. I am confident that I made the right decision to go with the longer resonators, because there's plenty of cabin noise. Oh, but it's a good noise. Car sounds sick. Beast mode baby. Go Hawks!!!

Did you install yourself or shop? Mine is still in the box and waiting for a friend that has a lift and will try to install myself.

Any tips you gents might have?

The cbe part is soooo simple to install. Took my 10 min to remove and 15 min to put on with a second set of hands and a lift

Hey guys could you guide me on how to order CBE and LTH.
Mine would be an international order while F.I Website has the shipping quote for US only.
Any idea how long is that waiting list? Going to call them right up :D

their customer service is one of if not the best hands down. whenever i placed my order tony was on the phone with me for about 45 minutes going over every option. it was great to have that kind of support to make the correct choice in what system i wanted.

Bodytechz 01-07-2013 03:53 PM

Just put my order in today #690 should have sometime in April just in time for spring/summer driving. Talked to Tony, Awesome guy, very helpful. He informed me that it would be a vast improvement over my stock Nismo exhaust. Everyone in my Z club kept telling me that my Nis was to quiet, this should change their opinions.

KN21283 01-07-2013 03:58 PM

#690

cavemancan 01-07-2013 04:14 PM

Went to the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley with my daughter. On our way back with with some spirited driving past the short tunnel on 405/5 a guy next to me honked his horn and put his finger on his lips shushing me. I think I got his attention after I downshifted to kick in the SRM. The Z was too loud for him. Excuse me but I'm not apologizing for having a Fast Intentions Exhaust.

Couldn't agree more! After hanging up the phone, I had absolutely no reservations about dropping almost $2k on a CBE & HFC combo.
