One question for those that have done the install (or FI rep)... after installing the heat wrap on the EVAP purge line, and tightening the zip ties, I noticed the line has a small kink in the bend just after exiting the EVAP canister. I don't recall if this was there prior to installing the heat wrap, or if I was a little to strong when tightenning the zip tie and causes the line to pinch slightly and kink. It's not bent over completely or anything, just small kink in the bend. I have no idea if this would affect vapor flow to the engine for burn off or not... Does anyone else see similar small kink in that corner? Thanks! I can try to take a picture of the area, but it's hard to see with the wrap on, more can just feel it. ![]() ![]()

How far is the wait backed up to at this point? Also, I know the CF vs SS makes a difference in sound, but which is louder? I am considering the non res but if it's not loud enough may have to go with "the FP option".

I believe the lead time is 8-12 weeks and I think the CF mufflers are slightly louder. Are you sticking with your stock cats?

Give Kevin a call at FI. He will simplify your decision and make you understand the difference in the resonance between the SS and CF CBE. I believe the current wait is 12+ weeks. FI is busy this summer and good for them! Get your order in asap so that you can enjoy the Z with the FI CBE, sooner than later.

Wait......there's other options aside from non-res? Mind blown.

There is no volume difference between the CF and SS. CF is slightly higher pitch and SS is slightly deeper, but I doubt anyone would be able to tell the difference unless they had each side by side.

![]() I am still waiting for my royalty check from Tony for giving him the idea to put CF mufflers on these cars.
