Are you referring to just the catback install? As soxfan69 said, I would estimate about 1-2 hours. With a lift and air tools, time obviously goes down.

Fitment is spot on, but it does help to have a 2nd pair of hands holding the canisters up at the desired angle. Would just hate to see anything happen to those beauties

I installed mine using ramps and jackstands in 2-30. Should have been 2 but I got overzealous on a midpipe hanger bolt and had to drill and tap another. If ur a decent wrench head should take about two. Incredible fit and finish! I did have to shim the right pipe with two washers to get it on the money, but hands down the best exhaust I've ever installed.

1cleanZ, yea it's just the catback install. Thanks for your input, guys. I'm install #956 so I still have a ways to go but I'm pumped! And you're absolutely right about that extra set of hands for alignment; I tried removing the stock nismo catback to install short tails on my own and it was a b!t&#

Anyone know who if the Non-res pipe are just as deep, deeper, or less deep than the 12" or 18" (sounding wise)? that sound is just so intoxicating that I want to make it deeper and louder. Thinking about buying a Non-res pipe to replace my 12" pipe, any suggestion?

From what I've hard the resonators just change how loud the exhaust is, so as far as deep ness goes I would assume the note is the same, you just hear it more. I got the non resonated, you think it will be too loud or just right? You could always try doing test pipes or something instead of a new x pipe if you don't have them already.

Non-resonated is definitely deeper. I've owned both 18" resonators on my G37, and now own a Non-resonated x on my Z. The 18" gives a steady tone but a little higher pitched and less refined, where the non-resonated gives more throaty/deep of a rumble. At high RPMs, you sometimes even get the badassness of a slight backfire almost!

I paired both exhausts with Fast Intentions Resonated HFCs.

Here is how our ordering process works:

When you place an order all I require is a $300 deposit. This deposit does go towards the entire balance. I do not charge the remaining balance until your exhaust is ready to ship. At the time the order is placed I create an actual invoice for you. Then I will email you a PDF copy of that invoice to keep on file. Now all of my exhaust systems are hand built custom for each customer right here in house. I rarely have anything in stock. Everything is built on a first come first serve basis and right now we are 11-13 weeks out from the time your order is placed until the time it will ship. This may possibly be an over estimate, but I would rather under promise & over deliver. Now the lead time does not start until the order is placed and the invoice is created. Once your exhaust is built and ships I will email you your tracking number.

I installed my FI HFC's and CBE with 18' resinators and carbon cans over the winter. We finally had a nice day to go for a drive here in Chicago, this weekend! I have to say this was money well spent. Tony was very helpful in choosing the PERFECT setup for me. I didn't want obnoxious/dirty loud. It's not for me. With this setup I get no drone inside the car. At cruising speeds it's a faint grumble. But when I open it up, she screams like !@#$%!!!!! My neighbors all came out of their homes to gawk when I took the Z out yesterday. Absolutely love it!!
