I bet bro. I need a ride in it one day if you mozy on down to central FL sometime.

Tony could def fab you up a one off systme that would rock, but you'd most likely need to send him the car (or take a vaca to Cali and get'er done while you're there).

#541 delivered as of yesterday. I got back from my trip early so shooting to get it installed this Friday!!! :excited:

Neoatw 07-26-2012 12:13 PM

Got mine (#543) yesterday, and did the install the same night (11:00 pm). As a dentist who doesn't really work on cars, took me 4 freaking hours by myself while wife and kids are sleeping upstairs. Fired her up @3:00 am, and ended up with an angry wife cuz of the noise, however, it is worth it because I did the work all by myself instead of sending it to the shop. Took me a while trying to lower the car back down because I was afraid of crushing the exhaust during lowing the car from rear jack point (the pumpkin). I ended up using the rear pinch weld to lower the car...

The Z is my first toy car that I intend to mess around with, and this is the very first set of exhaust I've owned. Drove to work 1/2 asleep this morning with the top down, and boy it is loud.... Still trying to get use to it.... I ended up driving slower than normal because of the noise. I did let the exhaust sing a little while driving through the underpass, it sends a chill through me and made me feel young again! As a 36 yr. old dentist, I feel like back in high school.

The only thing I am concerned about is the gap between the exhaust tip and the rear valence. How much of the gap should I have? Will it melt my bumper?

djtodd 07-26-2012 12:20 PM

If you want to increase the distance between the tips and the bumper, add a few washers between the hanger mounts and the chassis on each side.

Awesome! Yeah my neighborhood hates me now cause I start up my car at about 7:15am, and it just roars cause I don't have it tuned yet, so it's revs pretty high at first. Glad you like it!

Just a quick question regarding to sychro rev match after the exhaust install... does it act weird or is it just my imagination? Whenever I go to neutral, SRM would go to work, and for some reasons, it stay at higher RPM longer than before.

it's the ECU readjusting after having the battery disconnected most likely. mine did it for a short period of time then it went back to normal after some miles were put on.

Romulus1 07-30-2012 08:39 PM

I'm 556 and my shipping window started on the 27th. Last confirmed delivery was for #543 on the 26th. Im pretty anxious for my exhaust!

svt to 370z 07-30-2012 09:51 PM

Man after driving about 200 miles since i Put this exhaust on it seems like this car is so much fast with this exhaust. My buddy drove it bone stock and i let him drive it after the fi 12" res and the typhoon induction. He said its night and day, and im with him. Anyone elese think the same?

Bryan 07-30-2012 10:53 PM

I know it's up to 547 at least because I get mine delivered tomorrow.

Sounds great man. What was the outcome of the HP??

dmhenderson 08-02-2012 09:15 PM

PM'ed - sorry if I missed bundle pricing but interested in seeing what a FI CBE + HFCs would run me bundled. Would rather go with FI HFCs than Berk and would make life easier if I could order from one place.

Edit: Plus I want to be loud http://www.the370z.com/members/dmhen...7-gf-frank.gif

In 100* weather and a conservative tune I got 308hp/256tq.

dmhenderson 08-03-2012 08:08 PM

Am I doing this right PM'ing the OP and waiting for a response on bundle or am I just being retarded? Have a couple weeks until I get my calipers done then will want to move straight to the exhaust/HFCs and tune.

KaienZ34 08-03-2012 08:10 PM

You could call tony and get on the list he is very helpful.

dmhenderson 08-03-2012 08:13 PM

Oh ok. I'll give him a call next week once I get Mike and the caliper thing straightened away.
