On my replacement Z (totaled the last one) I went with Motordyne to try something new since I was starting with a clean slate. I had the FI on the last one but I am glad I saved up and went with motordyne. The sound is better (personal opinion) and no drone. I had the 12" resonators on the FI and there was still noticeable drone on the highway. While both are great systems, I prefer the motordyne after owning both. This thread is what pushed me to try it.

Here's a vid of the e370 with ART pipes and gen3's. I also had the FI system with resonated test pipes, and 12" resonators on my G. Great system all around great quality, throaty, proven gains, just some drone on the highway, and a little deceleration hiss. The Motordyne is a different beast however just sounds angry, growls all the way up the rpm band, screams on downshifts, louder than my FI system without the drone on the highway though. Vids you see online do not do it justice, when I heard it in person I was sold. It is a loud system with test pipes though, just a heads up.

Sounds good. How's the drone with the motordyne and test pipes? Are they Fast Intention test pipes?

Looking to switch over and maybe keep the Fast Intentions test pipes.

Drone is significantly less than the FI system for sure, you can barely hear it on the highway. I have the motordyne ART pipes, FI test pipes would sound similar if they'r the resonated ones I'd think.

I'd like to get the e370 and then a little bit later down the road a TT. Is it going to be a difficulty fitting in a turbo back into the e370 system? What will it entail in terms of removing pieces, etc? Or do you recommend a different exhaust system if I'm going to be going with a TT later?

You shouldn't be.

Motordyne make an exhaust that was developed for and on the Nissan, most exhaust manufacturers just make a current model/tech fit the car.

The only thing that's battling in my mind is cost... Since I'm from Australia the cost to get it shipped including the product would be around 2.7k... Whereas the Tomei muffler would be close to 1.5k... That's where my headspace is atm...

Ahh, yeah i can see that being a major factor. All i will say is that if you can justify the extra expense, it will be worth it.

I should be posting a vid of FI LTH and E370 around April or May on the dyno just in case someone wants to hear that combo. There's one with PPE but whatever.

How is this E370 compared to the ARK grip exhaust in terms of loudness and drone? I want the least drone but I don't mind loud. I right now have AAM resonated short tails with ART pipes and it drones 3200-4000.

The Motordyne doesn't drone.
