As mentioned before, check whether the metal shield over the passenger side muffler is contacting the exhaust. I had this similar issue with my FI exhaust as have others and

As mentioned before, check whether the metal shield over the passenger side muffler is contacting the exhaust. I had this similar issue with my FI exhaust as have others and just bent it up out of the way, no problems since.
