sudden power drop after intake install

The A/C should be automaticly turned off when the ecu reads wot. Or at least that's what I've been told.

How true is this and where did you read about this? This is very interesting and with the technology that is put into cars now a days I wouldn't be surprised....Would like to hear more or read up on this

I know the A/C compressor being turned off automatically at WOT was a feature on my '99 Trans Am, surely 10 years later on a nice import car they'd have thought of the same (or a similar) feature, but I haven't seen any mfg data or testing that backs up whether this actually happens.
