I will give Motordyne a call tomorrow to see what is up, but I would definately use my OEM engine cover over the Motordyne version.

It’s not 50hp gain, it’s more in the lines of 12hp being the lowest to 25hp being the highest from what I witness myself.

Reading the developments form MotorDyne, seems like this is kind of a VQ35HR-VQ37VHR manifold hybrid. It is indeed a modified stock manifold of some sort.

i had spoken to Motordyne for a month now.. i told them to tell me once this manifold is released.

and this is true this manifold was released only 1 weeks ago only..

the price of it is 699$

I was told that this manifold is not for HR.. its only for VHR.. there is a reason y it called M"370"..

but after seeing this thread on 350z forum.. Im totally confused :S...

Still waiting for dyno...

I spoke at length with the crew at Motordyne today and got a whole bunch of questions I had answered. First, it makes more power at all points of the hp and torque curves even with the longer runners which are not as long as the VQ manifold but longer than the stock VHR runners. No matter how I asked, they would not speculate the power output as they will only show the results after independent dyno tests which is smart but at the same time I wish that all dynos will be done on the same rollers to keep the calibrations similar.

In for dyno results!

So $700 for a modified crappy stock plastic manifold. That's a pretty penny for some R&D.

I like what MotorDyne does, but they should have had the manifold re-cast in aluminum with a price point at $1200.
