if you want to, an ECU reset is easy, unplug the negative, get in the car and hold the brakes in for 30 seconds, get out, plug negative in, voila. Or you can just drive and let the ECU relearn which takes 5-10 driving cycles apparently...

So whats the benefit of resetting the ECU?
I dont want dealers to notice I have done anything either :S hahah so resetting ECU would cause alarm bells maybe?
5-10 driving cycles? lol how long are they? :P thats wat i wanna find out! Thanks

Dude the dealership won't know.

Just undo the negative of the battery. Hit the brake peddle a few times so theres no current. Leave it overnight.

hahaha brilliant. thanks for the advice guys.
getting pipes installed tomoro hopefully,
ill let it idle for a bit before driving anywhere.... drive a little tomoro night, disconnect the negative of the battery terminal and hold the brake pedal in, let it sit for a bit and then go on my cruise first thing sunday morning!?

Seems to be a dispute over the figures here I see LOL.

Anyone actually got the dyno numbers, as it looks like the YouTube video from the original post has been deleted..
