I'm still on the fence about the intake, but if I do it I'll do a pre and post dyno of the port. At least I'm imagining switching out the manifolds on this isn't a huge PIA and am willing to do it twice at this point.

JC I completely agree with you on getting a dyno done right now. I still need to do a factory baseline and was gonna wait till the fall, but if I pull the trigger on this sooner, it is what it is. The unfortunate thing is for the validity numbers. If I get it dynoed in the next 3 months it's going to be hot and humid in ways most only see on TV and my baseline and M370 intake will look pretty weak. Then come the fall winter time from when I have the time and cash to pull the intake again and send it down to Z1 the port will look like the greatest mod ever. Also I don't plan on tuning until after all my mods are done, which depending on a lot of factors could still be 2-3 years down the road, so even those numbers will not be the best numbers that those two additions could produce.

Yes, i agree, then i added z1 headers and test pipes and lost all my mid-range torque from 266 down to 254 again . Gained some top power but 4-5 hp. I think if i went back to stock manifold i'd have a better running top end as now without the mid range pain its annoying with the m370 loss on the top which the z1 headers help counter, but no more track days for me so i dont really care about that extra torque at 3rd on the track anyway.

Thats my reasoning, whether idiotic or not.

I got the M370 in the mail yesterday. I'm gonna make an appointment at a local Dyno for the base line, then get it switched out. It'll be a couple months down the road before I can get the Z1 port done. Unless I can get them to sponsor the build and give me a discount on the job.
