Shop rate?

Or rather time.

Anyone have an idea of how long for a typical (experienced) performance shop to do an exhaust with downpipe swap? The car is brand new so even typically stubborn exhaust bolts shouldn't be an issue.

What about an Injen CAI?

I usually turn my own wrenches but I have to drive an hour and a half to pick up the parts, and would then come back a few weeks later for the Uprev dyno tune so starting to think maybe just do it all in one day and save myself the second trip.

For estimating in my area with a higher then normal wage rate I use $100USD/hr/person. Exhaust work isn't particularly complicated so they shouldn't need have their best guy on it so I would use a bit lower rate.

If you don't drive around beating on the car for those few weeks, why not DIY all of it and drive in for the tune? It'll cost you an additional trip, but save you at least a couple hundred dollars.

$80-$120 per hour depending on region. I've seen quotes as low as $75 and high as $300. The higher quotes are inflated by mechanics who would prefer to just not screw with them. The work shouldn't take more than 30 minutes by an experienced hand with proper tools. I agree with Chuck: DIY if you can.

For my FI test pipes and exhaust, I think my shop charged me $70-80 and hour and the whole thing took about 2.5 - 3 hours.
