As posted above, cat are designed to last a long time. I would say cats in modern vehicles have more than 9 lives. That is unless you live up north (salt/winter times) or there are crazy speed bumps in your area and you have tried to flatten those with your exhaust system. FI = Forced induction, fuel injection, fast intentions, fags incorporated, faulty imbecile, fast intercourse and the list can go on and on.
