Safe, any system done correctly will be safe. However the more things you add the more things that can break down. NA doesn't really add components so that will have the lowest risk of breaking down. TT has the most added with SC not far behind so has the higher chance, still low if done right, to break down.
Really it all depends on what you want/need out of the car and what you can afford. Do you need 500+whp to get to work and back? Do you plan on doing drag racing, autox, or track days often enough to justify the cost? Will you be doing all the installations yourself or would you take it to a shop, this will have a big impact on costs. |
