How much boost pressure can a built VQ37VHR withstand?

so its a case of " i punch it in second and my tires self warm until they are ready to grip awesome then i shift to third" ok yeah

That's what everybody gets. I mean, we're not all so cool as to post vids of us racing people on the street, but the rest of it is pretty much the standard. I thought homie was doing something special and was getting second to hook without burning off 2k miles worth of rubber on the tires.

Hey it's ok. Now we know you we're comparing a single turbo that spools at 4k v.s. Us twins that spool at 3.2k rmp. Should have caught it when you said 8k rmp shift point.

Car looks clean and the video was well put together. Takes balls to hit 170mph on open road(personally 120mhp in 5th is my shut down point)

None the less we we're on two different aspects of FI. Just take in mind you're hitting 300wtq at 4k rmps and twins usually hit 400+wtq at 4k rmps. Big different, but when my smaller turbos peak at 6.6kish yours is just beginning to open up.(example)

Anytime...I'm not trying to offend anyone. You can hit 8 psi at 2.2k dam I was thinking more around 3k...but any way yes its a different world. 2nd gear 40 is around 4k I think which is prime starting point for my car tires hold just fine and that's all I was trying to say...

Was comparing at 10psi 480whp, but 3.2k I'm about 4 psi(320ishwtq)

4k on a single unit is still awesome power, but if your not blowing your tires 5k to 7k then

You have a Dyno graph of your setup? I've messed with several GTM kits and I've never seen one come on that early. Even the FI kits don't spool like that.

Is this your dyno? If so, are you running the ball bearing or journal bearing?
