Great thought here COSMO. This is one of the main reasons we went with BorgWarner and specifically the 6758 turbocharger. The response of these turbos was amazing for the amount of power they can push out. BorgWarner really went above and beyond during their own development of these turbos. While i'm sure a portion of it is marketing lingo, the Titanium Aluminide turbine wheel really does make a substantial improvement (it's soooooo light, it's literally almost the same weight as the compressor wheel on the other end of the shaft) in turbo lag/response over materials used in other turbochargers. The Titanium Aluminide in conjunction with the ball bearing system really provides a fast response.

But hey - I can talk all day. Lets see some dyno charts right! We'll be sure to get these up within the next couple days. As they say - the proof is in the pudding!

what are you guys using for boost controlers? the efr's have the solenoid built into the turbo don't they? So the boost controller would need to be compatible with the twin borg warner solenoids right?

Great question 1slow30 and you are correct - the BorgWarner EFR turbochargers have an integrated boost control solenoid valve (BCSV). The installer will have the ability to configure the wastegate actuators between 5-10 PSI and AAM Competition will offer an optional boost controller which will work in conjunction with the built in BCSV solenoids for those who want to run more boost. The release date for the optional AAM Competition boost controller is mid-November.

Alternatively, for those who are interested in using an aftermarket boost controller or who may already own one, the BorgWarner turbochargers do allow for the use of a boost controllers by simply bypassing the built in BCSV and configuring the boost controller as you would on any turbocharged system.

Again - great question, I'll be adding this to the FAQ or future readers.

Always great to see quality options enter the market. I look forward to the arms race between Fast Intentions quarter mile times and this kit.

Good Job AAM, Finally you did it, I was waiting for that.

Are you guys going to make upgrade component for 7AT since your kit will fit the automatic cars?

Yes we will be making upgraded components for the 7AT in the future.

Ping me if you need a test car for that kit Having added power to my last auto and blowing through 3 transmissions till I got that sorted out has me a bit "gun shy".

That's awesome that there will be options for 7AT upgrades. I've been also kicking around the idea of putting in a built GM 4L80 in place of my 7AT.

will you only be drag racing? thats only a 4 speed gear box. wouldnt the 6L80e be a better choice? just a thought lol i mean 4 speed for the track with the right gears would be ridiculous

well this is all speculation since i dont know if you could even marry a GM tranny and a Nissan engine.

Borg Warner.......I didn't see that one coming. I am truly excited and sad at the same time. Both companies that I have suggested to everyone that decides to make the Forced Induction plunge, have released a TT kit AND I have the Greddy. So much irony there, lol!

Great Job guys and I look forward to seeing the results. I only ask that you don't do what the ones who will remain unnamed did.......
