Finally I was told this was in the works but that was a year ago. It was worth the wait

Default Intercooler question

Quick question, why did you decide to make the intercooler tubing reach furthur into the intercooler? (The top part is not the traditional intercooler in the sense that the exit tubing is closer to the center). Wouldn't this cause a reduction in efficiecy?

You missed his reply to me, he forgot to add it and did later, thank you though.

theDreamer had a valid question as I forgot to include the price in the initial post and added it in after he asked. But thanks for pointing it out for future viewers Nuc370z, appreciated!

COSMO - at this time we basically have everything in stock and are looking to install the system on a few different platforms (350 Auto/man, 370 Auto/man, G35 auto/man, g37 auto/man and the sedan) before we enter into the presale. We need these R & D vehicles so I can take pictures/video to create the instruction manual and make installation videos - and of course provide you all with dyno charts, videos, etc...

Wow. What a good looking, well-thought-out system.

The amount of time creating the thread and information, and the INCREDIBLE product photography photos (That's what I do) are impressive indicators of top quality.

Great post, Max. I wish you well in this. I'd LOVE to see the first 10 second vehicle. Cool to see the Bounty Funds being offered. That's throwing down the gauntlet at the drag strip--MY favorite venue.

With the turbo's rated at 500 hp a piece I'm going to bet the spool slower than a smaller one's. The 2860 is rated at 350hp , the 2860 stage II .86 is rated at 370hp. Either way I cant wait to see a dyno of the spool. I'm sure the 3" downpipes will help a lot getting the air moving..

Great thought here COSMO. This is one of the main reasons we went with BorgWarner and specifically the 6758 turbocharger. The response of these turbos was amazing for the amount of power they can push out. BorgWarner really went above and beyond during their own development of these turbos. While i'm sure a portion of it is marketing lingo, the Titanium Aluminide turbine wheel really does make a substantial improvement (it's soooooo light, it's literally almost the same weight as the compressor wheel on the other end of the shaft) in turbo lag/response over materials used in other turbochargers. The Titanium Aluminide in conjunction with the ball bearing system really provides a fast response.

But hey - I can talk all day. Lets see some dyno charts right! We'll be sure to get these up within the next couple days. As they say - the proof is in the pudding!

We need to get an X model car in as part of our R & D program to confirm fitment or determine what adjustments we would need to make in order to release a kit for the X trim.

Live on the east coast and interested?
