I didn't want it too loud. And the system made an extra 40whp over my ark system before retuning.

Just FYI if anyone reads my previous questions about trying to fit the Turbosmart Kompact Shortie Dual Port.

The passenger side will not fit without modifications to the mount. However, the driver side doesn't seem to have any clearance issue.

I really want to see videos of this. I may look into going this route. Is there a reason you went with modifying the mount rather than using block off plates and welding BOV flanges on the intercooler tubing?

I wanted to try these dual port valves out because they are 50% atmospheric and 50% recirculating. The hope is to get the BOV salute but still keep some of the benefits of the recirculating design. To put the block off plates and traditional BOVs would mean to not get any of the recirculating benefits at all.

My question wasn't clear. I understand the desire for having dual port. I was wondering why you went with cutting the mount rather than running block off plates and dual ports on flanges.

Ryan, maybe this will help answer what I think you are asking. Borg Warner designed the recirculating valves to reduce lag when you're off the throttle (e.g. shifting gears). Instead of dumping out through an atmospheric blow off valve, they recirculate back through the compressor housing to provide faster response once you're back on the throttle. The hybrid versions give you the staple bov sound (though it may be a bit quieter) yet still provide some benefit from the recirculating setup.
