There is no way that fit, at least i'm 95% sure it would not. As shown in Jason's picture (thanks Jason) space is limited and it would be too long/tall. If you wanted to utilize a traditional BOV you would need to install the BorgWarner block off plate (previously mentioned) and could then install any BOV of your choice (hopefully something of high quality) in the upper intercooler piping. Most of what I just said was previously mentioned but I just wanted to make sure there was no confusion on this topic. I can try to get some audio of the integrated BorgWarner CRV so you can hear what it sounds like. It's definitely noticeable but not to the audible level of a traditional BOV.

Attention G37 Customers:
We are seeking 1-2 additional G37's to participate in the R & D program. I would be able to extend our R & D pricing to the next 2 G37 customers. If anybody is interested please reach out to me (email/PM/whatever).

I beg to differ Max. The build got to hit the pavement for the first time in 6 months last night; I thought at first I was going to hate these integrated BoVs meaning no more "choo choo" noises which is imo the coolest part of being turbo, but to my surprise at as little as 2-4lbs of boost these things are VERY MUCH noticeable and easily comparative to the sound I got from my 50mm turbosmart valves on 12lbs from my GTM kit. I can definitely say I'm not the least bit disappointed by the sound. I can tell each of you that this kit still retains all of the cool "im turbo" sounds, and I must say, I love it.

I wonder if the gfb's BOVs most people use on the GTR's would work with this setup?
quick twist and it can be adjusted for how much recirculation or how much vent to atmosphere can be done whenever you want. ell when stopped since its a manual change lol

^ That's why I suggested the 50/50 dual port bov. I think one can get a little bit of both worlds using it. Also seems like it would be a little less of a hassle than putting in the disabling cover and getting flanges welded on.
Jason, do you think there is not enough clearance for the dual port bov - is that why you suggest using the disabling cover?

![]() As you can see there isn't a lot of room to work with. Without having something like the Kompact Shortie on hand to test fit, we really can't tell at this time. We do know the disabling kit will fit for those looking to go with BOVs.

Sort of like turbos that have internal wastegatee. In order to go external, you first need to disable the internal gate, by some bracket, or welding it shut, then you figure out where to mount your external, mount it, and so forth, you get the idea.

I kind of think it won't fit seeing Jason's picture though - the disabling cover and cutting/welding flanges on may be the way to go.

Mine are pretty loud when shifting between gears or letting off the throttle while in boost. Not as loud as a bov though.

Thanks! Look forward to seeing your exhaust. There are some minor idle adjustments that needed to be made to my tune for when the engine is cold but other than that the car is running great and I've been driving it almost daily. I've already received the new map from Mike. I just need to find the time to upload it.
