If I had this kind of money to throw around I would just get a C7 and call it a day. I can imagine the wife's look when I tell her i need a turbo kit on top of the SC. ...and out I would go.

it is a friction drive so that would make sense. hopefully they don't get damaged if ran to hard prematurely.

Do you really think breaking in the supercharger is going to yield another 50 or so whp? I'm guessing the only way it would show more whp would be if the temps are cooler if they dyno it in the morning and even that without touching the tune would be very minimal..

There is another issue going on, this kit puts out 485-500 to the wheel with the 88mm pulley all the time.

I don't car for American vehicles either but the C7 is pure sex. I just want the Z51 package and the magnetic ride control and you'll never hear me b*tch again.

Did they smoke test it for boost leaks? is the bov sealing? Is the belt tensioner working properly? also what do you have for headers/exhaust?

On another note if I get a different car after the Z I'd see if i can squeeze into a lotus elise and then supercharger the bejeezus out of it.

Bobby stated it was put together correctly and the BPV and belt were functioning correctly.

Thread title change to "What has shipped?!?"

Did you figure out whether you actually have the stage 1.5?

if your car has the big intake pipe to the right of the charger in this photo it has to be a stage 1.5

Edit: looking at the photos it looks like the differences are in the housing/intake/filter, charge pipes look bigger, and motor mount.

Edit2:aparently that pic is of a 350hr kit damn google. if anybody has a pic of the vhr kit use that to compare, no wonder the pipes look different

Yes stage 1.5 uses the stage 2 Intake piping and motor mounts. The air filter on stage 1.5/2 faces back towards transmission
The manual for 1.5 is the same as stage 2.
