I have it and gonna try it, although I remember Charles saying its pretty easy to upgrade. On the other hand 255 was the pump that came with my sts kit as well... Lol you can take that how you wanna take it.

I just did a quick search, there's some 350 guys running 600 whp on a single 255 and a return style system. Idk if I'd go that high.. But my uneducated guess would be that we are ok at 500-550 whp.

Really needs to be noted I don't think anyone running over 600 ever did it on pump gas alone(stock block). Race gas or e85 seems to be the only way.

I think there's still only 1 person running over 600, Mr. Squeeze. He does get 600 on 93 but its with a built block.

You can do it with direct port water injection and pump gas.

Ok. Where are we going with this? Are we debating whether or not the Walbro 255 is enough to put down 600HP or what the CJM RRP can provide for FI applications?

For what it is worth, we need a little (ok a lot) more info about the other elements of the fuel system and other key components before we can say that the system works as intended.

Side Note:

This George@GTM guy is pretty active over that past few days. Maybe they decided to get involved in the community again instead of just advertising their products. Either way, it seems like a good thing to me.

In FI applications where a normal 255 was enough to meet the vehicles needs, we can expect the basic RRP kit with single 255 to be able to do the job. The extra plumbing length associated with the RRP kit might slightly deduct from available fuel to the rails of a standard 255 configuration. But I expect it to be within a few percent.

Adding more pump to the RRP pump isn't a terribly difficult experience, pending how much more we are talking about. Once you have enough pump that it is needed to bypass the factory fuel filter and regulator housing, there needs to be another hose added inside the tank and it gets a little messy outside the tank to have to put a filter and return system in.

I have been in communication with Martin privately but I wanted to post in this thread too so that people didn't think I was overlooking this question.
