Air to Water Heat Exchanger
I noticed in the vid that you have a vented hood. Did you install the vented hood and larger heat exchanger at the same time?

Planning on adding hood vents to the stock hood first before upgrading heat exchanger. I figure the vents would alleviate some of the heatsoak or most??

I'm hoping that works too, I have a Carbon Creations Hot Wheels hood coming to me this week.

I'm not sure I could fit that heat exchanger in my car with the oil cooler, trans cooler and air filters there isn't much room left.

I'm curious to see how much it lowers the temp under the hood. Do you plan to do a before/after test?

Not really sure how to test before because I can't get back to the track before but I should be able to tell what it does in traffic. I also plan to go to water and Water Wetter but will do it in stages so I can see what does what. I will keep you guys posted on how it turns out.

If anyone has a good way to test before and after please give me some ideas and I will try to get the info.

The hood came in today and the car is going in for install and paint a week from Monday so I should know how much it helped cooling in a couple weeks.

I ended up blocking off the top two vent because they were over the battery and break box but the hood still seems to help with heat. I haven't seen it over 180 oil temp and before the hood I would see close to 200 in stop and go traffic.
