I have not heard or seen anything that would prevent an intercooler from working unless you globbed the paint on the intercooler. I would even say just simple black spray

I have not heard or seen anything that would prevent an intercooler from working unless you globbed the paint on the intercooler.
I would even say just simple black spray paint would work as long as you sprayed light coats.
