Intercooler Powder Coating?

Properly done, the powdercoating is only on the end of the fins. The core is 3-4" thick through the cooler. It doesn't affect heat transfer at all. Due to Faraday

Properly done, the powdercoating is only on the end of the fins. The core is 3-4" thick through the cooler. It doesn't affect heat transfer at all. Due to Faraday Cage effect, there is no way for powder to even get in between the fins more than about 1/64" of an inch.
