Mike, can't the kits be shipped earlier than June/July; given the number of ppl signing up and by the time one gets it installed half the summer will be done. Won't give us too much time to enjoy this kit.

I'd much rather run this kit on a nice cool October Saturday afternoon than a scalding hot day in July! :icon14: Fall weather makes turbos more fun! :happydance:

You guys and if when can get it sooner/ later. You cant get it sooner cause there not ready. And if you want to wait later. Well, wait later. You can't rush production. It is what it is. I'm sure GTM is doing something everyday towards getting these kits out. As much as GTM wants to release this for there selves and us he has to make business work smoothly or else you'd be complaining about that.

anything past June/July would be pushing it. Hopefully they'll be shipped at that time.

Dude, you're in Montana. It's always turbo weather when you're that far north.

Just a friendly reminder, Be Sure to Make Check Both Turbo's to make sure they are CLOCKED correctly or you will have fitment issues down the road on the things.. Even if one of yours is supposed to be already clocked...... Trust me it will save you a lot of time later...

That's just when you make sure the return oil line for the turbo is facing down right?

SPOHN 05-08-2013 11:25 AM

Clocking a turbo means rotating the compressor and exhaust housings in relation to the manifold. There's other reason but this is the main reason.

By the way, for all the people who are pre-ordering the kit, lets discuss something:

How much power do you fellas think you want to be putting down? I personally want to run around 500-540whp all day, but I know some will run less, and some will run more (550-600whp). What do you think will be the sweet spot?

I honestly haven't found a ton of information regarding engines blowing up at 550+ whp, only a few cases. I'd wager there are many kits (GTM or otherwise) running at that, or slightly below that have been fine for a while now. That being said, I would be weary of 600whp.
