So then what was all this talk about avoidong gears 1, 5, 6, and 7 if you have a SC'd 7AT? Is it still a concern? Im not the type to run it on tracks or redline everyday but ofcourse i do enjoy taking it up a notch every now and then. Driving 22 miles down and back for work, I shouldnt need a tranny cooler would I? I know it wouldn't hurt but I like the motto of, If it ain't broke don't fix it. Lol

I'm assuming you have a supercharger. The Z did not come from the factory forced induction, so by adding it you should take precaution and add a transmission cooler to help absorb some added stress from heat. Things get real hot real quick!

You have to always worry about the 7AT Transmission bro. It is just that SC comes on a lot smoother because it is Belt Driven (Linear).

The transmission will fail later down the road compared to the Turbo. The TQ is what cause the issue for our AT platform. The limitation for our Transmission regarding torque is 400.

To preserve the life of the Transmission (One should invest in an Intercooler, GTM VB upgrade or Level Ten VB Upgrade Plus increasing the Line pressure via Uprev Software.
