What are you talking about? I have ran this setup and it works 100% and a LTH setup with a SC is the ideal exhaust setup.

I have also heard from Stillen that they 100% do not recommend any headers with their S/C setup. Stock manifolds only.

For the same reason, too much valve overlap @ high RPM causing charge to exit cylinder before combustion.

I don't think it's that huge a deal at normal boost levels, but that's what they say.

It all has to do with the SC unit and if it was built properly with expansion in place.
Stillen and GTM really built their systems to function with stock exhaust setups because of CARB requirements, which limits the expansion for headers & exhaust. But honestly, I have ran this setup (GTM Stage 1 SC) and it works great and I highly recommend it.

-Better heat management
-Stock cats will blow and if you are driving while this happens you could possibly suck part of it into the engine bay
-Better flowing exhaust

Oh I agree with all of those points.

Just repeating the words I've heard from the manufacturers... However silly they sound to me.

I think it is because they only tested with OEM exhaust components and do not want to recommend a part and people lose power or have issues and it falls back on them.
I understand both sides, but I would go with whatever you want as it will work unless it does not fit which is another story.
