I believe the head studs are all the same and for the mains you want studs for an HR. My block had to go back to the machine shop this week to get line honed for the ARP mains, I forgot I had them line hone it with the oem studs

Thanks, good to know! I have found a few sets of studs for sale on my350z and wanted to know if they will work.

What about head gaskets? I am guessing we need VQ37VHR specific ones?

I believe you need our specific head gasket, but if you're doing an engine build just buy the "engine rebuild gasket kit" from courtesy nissan, it costs $215 and it comes with every single gasket for the engine, including head gaskets.

Excellent, good to know! Are the stock gaskets up to the task? I would love to save the money by not purchasing a Cosworth set.

for sure, they are multi layer steel gaskets and with the ARP L19 head studs you won't see those lifting

Thanks for the input. Are you sticking with the 340LPH fuel pump? What injectors?

I am hoping to go with ID1000s and tune on E85. I think I'll need a dual pump setup.

I'm only going for 600-650whp on high boost, so 850cc and the 340lph pump will do the trick.

Realistically, that is my goal as well. Maybe ~700whp on E85. I plan to have a 93 octane tune for when E85 is unavailable.

I really like to CJM twin pump, but it is pretty expensive. Might have to bite the bullet!

Hell yeah it's very expensive I have it and in order to make it work you need all of this a complete fuel system.

GTM Motorsports*::*FUEL SYSTEM*::*GTM STAGE 5 FUEL SYSTEM

1000 CC injetors is cutting it close for 700whp on E-85 I had a nice conversation with the guys from ID. It is something that I looked into E85 uses so much fuel that they would be close to max at 700whp. The next size up is 2000cc and I have been told not to try that with uprev.

I was looking at the Stage 5 setup...talk about not cheap! Very nice setup though.

I am a little worried that the ID1000s could max out with E85, but I think my Stage 2 turbos would get to their limit of efficiency before that. What do you think? I don't think I want to upgrade the turbos at this point, just safely get the most out of the Stage 2 kit on 93 and E85.

If you want the CJM twin pump you have no choice put to go with the stage 5 fuel system. I learned this the hard way the twin pumps are not just made to drop in you have to upgrade the rest of the fuel system in order for iit to work.

Your going to be cutting it close with the 1000cc's and stage 2 turbos would be at there limit's that's what I think. The thing is we dont have enough data to go off of not many built motor TT370z/G37's out there.

Definitely looking forward to ur build eliotty. I have the stage 2 also and I'm wondering if that will be the weak point if I build the motor. I know the manufacturer says "700 hp" but I'd like to see real experience cuz we all know manufacturer inflate numbers. I'm trying to figure out how much I can get outta em on pump gas n maybe meth. I'd rather not go the e85 route.

Might take me some time to get there, but I am going to try! I was thinking about going with Meth as well, but it is a little more complicated and adds up quickly when you go with a good setup and fail safe device. I think a built motor and supporting modifications to get the full power out of the Stage 2 will be perfect...for now at least!

On another note, have any of you guys had any experience with the Kenne Bell Boost-A-Pumps? I see on some of the other forums guys are running them to avoid the dual pump setups. DW shows pretty good flow rates with their DW 301 pump combined with higher voltage.
