Well, it is Sunday afternoon and I am done for the week….very tired. At this time I am just making duplicates of everything built so far. These items will stay behind for me to copy for future kits.

I was also toying with the idea of having a single waste gate, but that does not look like it will work out. Room under there car is at a premium. I spend some more time with making the charge pipe coming out of the turbo compressor. There will be a bit of a trick to it when a customer installs it, as it has to go in together with the oil relocation plate. Not a big deal, I will make sure the instructions are good with a lot of pictures.

On with some pictures:

Twins (well, almost):

The second set installed

Charge pipe coming from the front:

Going through, you can see that it changed a bit from previous pictures:

New down pipe:

Oil reservoir in place, it allows the oil from the turbo to drain while the car is off. This is a very important part of the oiling system. Because the oil is allowed to drain, it does not sit in the turbo, and leak past the seals. This means no smoking at start-up. With this reservoir, it is as if the turbo is mounted up high in the engine bay.

Weld up close:

Now it is time to eat, and get some rest.

Looking good Sasha! James sure is excited about it too. Nothing but praise for your work ethic and quality. Time to take this company public; I want in on the IPO....

When you get this installed, can you please get some ground clearance pics? Will it fit under the current bracing?

The lowest part will be the 3" flex pipe on the down pipe, and even it will not be a problem at all.

When this customer came in, the test pipes were lower than anything else on this kit.

Nice......very nice. How much power are you looking to put out with a single turbo & some of the other mods attached?

Sasha, Do you delete the O2 sensors in Uprev or do you plan on mounting them still?

The smaller (62mm billet) turbo will be more than enough to push the stock block past the "comfortable" power level, so about 550-600whp on the industry standard DJ. This also depends on the dyno and fuel. I have seen some outrageous numbers posted around recently with the VQ’s, and I must admit that the dyno graphs and claims are rather humorous. I am not going to make claims that I can not back up.

The 67mm turbo (upgrade/options) will be capable of 600+, and I would recommend that for built blocks, although it will work fine on a stock bock as well. Perhaps a bit more hp/psi, but not much.

All the O2's stay, I just have not welded the bungs in yet. Also, UpRev uses the O2 sensors that are in the headers, and not those that are in/post cat.

BTW, if you wish to swing by and have a look at the build, you are more than welcome to. Just send me a PM.

I think 500hp at the wheels on a stock block should be suitable for most...

I agree, however, it is good to have options. I am sure that soon enough these engines will be getting built with forged internals, and they will have a solid upgrade option when the time comes.
