The h-pipe section should be available through F.I. When I placed my down payment for my exhaust he explained that if I ever desired to go resonated I could ship him the h-pipe and they would weld resonators to it so I assume the reverse is true...You can simply purchase the h-pipe from FI.

Sasha, do you think this will fit the G?

I don't see any reason why it would not.

Might be cheaper to just have them removed at an exhaust shop too. I may do this.

Thats good to know! I will sit and wait till someone with a G jumps on it first. Not that I don't believe in you I just need some reassurance that everything fits well. Then again I would have to ditch my SC before I can make any final decision.

SS_Firehawk 10-10-2012 12:53 PM

If I can sell my Tanabe exhaust, Motordyne Y pipe / CAT, LTH's, and CAI, I would probably get this. Seriously, if this fit my LTH's, I would have sent money already. I don't car about running the stock ones, it's just the uninstall/install of the headers is a nightmare and I'm going to get r@ped by Force Fed racing for them to do it again. They bemoaned about how much they sucked to install and that I should have been charged a lot more then the $400 is cost to have them put in, more like double. I wouldn't even make my money back because it would cost the price of the headers.

Edit: The reasoning for selling the midpipe on back is that it would be way too quiet with a turbo.

Sasha, your twin scroll kit is incredible!

Kudos to you for building such a quality kit and the transparency of your business plan.

I'm in Billings Montana and really not to far of a drive up to the Big E.

I am thinking next spring for a kit for my 370, I currently have a CNT CBE installed and want to know if I would have to purchase a different one for your kit to bolt up? My CNT below.

Thanks!

Looks like a full day of driving..so if you were to drive up here and have me do the install, there would be no need to make any changes. I would be able to customise the downpipe to work with the exhaust you have.

For those that have sent deposits, FMIC's and fuel pumps will be shipped out tomorrow. It will be Christmas for you guys from now to the end of the year, as things will be arriving...a few at a time.

This is the perfect sleeper kit for the G! Huge power and very little visual clue (or audible till you step on it!) as to how many ponies are under the hood.....

Im not sure if I've missed this in the thread already.. My apologies if I have.

Hows your clutch holding up JMAC? did you go with an aftermarket clutch? How about the rest of the tranny?

Thanks

thx Mitco, hard to read through 66 pages!

Still have 3 kits that are unspoken for.

Just had to buy a DD truck for the winter, otherwise you'd only have 2 left :tiphat:

Next summer

Flyboy 10-13-2012 12:28 AM

Does the price include the FI exhaust? Sorry. It's late. And I'm forgetful.

Sorry but it does not. If it did, I would be working for free.

Captainstevo 10-13-2012 10:24 AM

Just finished reading thru all 60+ pages. Very nice work, Sasha! I've been researching all of the options out there, and this looks by far like the best choice. My only hesitations are due to the removal of the crash bar, and b/c I'd kind of like to finish out my drive train warranty before installing a turbo (at 31K miles now). Part of me wants to go ahead and pull the trigger though...

I have another local instal here in three weeks. I will be looking at the crash bar stuff. I am confident that it can stay in place with this FMIC. The results will be reported here when this is looked at.

You also have a great shop in Lousville to take the car to for tuning. I am sure you have heard of Dynosty.

JMac88 10-13-2012 10:52 AM

Not sure how the crash bar thing got blown up so much, but I am sure you can talk to any of the GTM TT guys or myself and we would all tell you we feel just as safe now as we did before with much more power to the rear wheels.

GaleForce 10-13-2012 10:57 AM

Yeah, the way I see it, if I'm In a situation where I need the crash bar... having that crash bar isn't going to help me a whole lot, if you know what I mean.

Deadman 10-13-2012 11:36 AM

The crash bar isn't going to do anything if you hit someone or someone hits you at a significant rate of speed. If i remember right it is used for "Low Impact" crashes. ie. 5mph :)

Boosted Performance 10-13-2012 11:48 AM

BTW...the first kit from the jigs is coming to together nicely:

A bit closer look at the clearances between the pipes and the jig (top righ, those two are not tacked in yet):

Actually, that was the next thing that I was going to look into. That is great to hear! I have not heard of them actually. Tuning will be something new to me. Have you worked with any of the guys there at all?

And great to hear that you will be looking into a way to keep the crash bar. I've got the cash to do this, but this may be a deciding factor for me. Thanks for the follow up, Sasha!

Yes I deal with these guys on a regular basis. This is where the turbos, waste gates and BOV's come from for these kits. These guys are great to deal with...give them a call, ask for Dustin on Hal. They are familliar with my work, and Hal (the tuner, also head rep for Haltech U.S.A) has one of these twin scroll kits on his own car. They also build engines, and hold records at the drag strip with the VQ's.

Will keep you posted on the crash bar stuff.

Deposit of $3,000 gets there. You can PM me if you have any questions regarding anything with the kit, and at the same time I can provide you with a paypal address.

I finally got Sniper Hill internet out here and literally went back and looked through the entire thread again. Then I got to Jmac's video's. I said WTF and holy $hit for about 10 minutes. Yes, $hit that's been blessed by the power of God, was so great that it forcibly made me sh!t after watching that video. Your killing me Sasha, I have plenty of money for this sitting in the bank and I was planning on doing this later down the road. Damn it!

Have a look at the second link in my signature.

I'm in the process of looping the sound of your turbo kit and turning it into my ring tone. When people ask what it is, I'll tell them it's what real cars sound like when they break wind. All that rage and anger...I now have fantasies of Green Peace crying collectively as I burn down fossil fuel at an alarming rate to feed the fury.

Thank you for the support, and I look forward to the reviews/feedback on these kits. I have a feeling ther will be 6 very happy BP turbo kit owner out there.

It also looks like there will only be one more kit available after today out of the first batch of 6.

I spend the entire day fabricating...everything is going well, and I am happy with the progress so far. The T4 divided flange was a bit of a pain on the first set of pipes, but I have now come up with a very good way to fit the two 2" pipes feeding the turbo close together..:happydance:
