They have several grades depending on your needs. I did it to reduce engine bay temps. It should also help with turbo spool time since it reduces heat transfer from the parts that it was applied to. It keeps hot air where its supposed to be.

Well I did the Swaintech coating on my I/C and it was chipped away from road debris. Like to coat the manis, hot-sides, etc... as well. Need to discuss with PowerFab my options more for the I/C.
