I know it will fit. I just wanted to get people's experiences with getting traction with similar sizes and tires while being boosted.

Default Nitto NT05

I just picked up some Nitto NT05's for my G37 IPL with stock IPL 19's
245/40-19 front
275/35-19 back
Theses are the first set of replacement tires since the stock Potenza's.
I'm pushing just under 600whp and 500trq. The tires grip better for sure on dry pavement, but I still spin into 3rd gear for sure.

The tires fill out the wheel wells better and have a sick tread pattern!
Road noise is slightly higher. I notice the tires now, where before I jest heard my exhaust. And by the way I am at stock ride height.

I know this thread is for tires but I made the swap to an auto 350z vlsd pumpkin (with a 3.3 fd) and it made a huge difference. I'm gtm sc 1.5 and hitting it from 40mph in 2nd it still spins a but is controllable, and 3rd is no problem. And I run 295 Mich PSS's on the rear btw

any updates on this thread? I'm boosted now and making 573 wheel and 426 TQ. looking to track, little drag and street. I come down to PS4s, R888 or most likely the CUP 2's

pending advise

Everything I've read...especially with respect to the track...gives a slight edge to the PS4s. If you don't plan on switching tires/wheels for track and street, definitely the PS4s.

R888s ...for drag. These put it down hard but will float on humidity.

Enjoy;
As my 314whp would blister up some 345/30/19 Invo's (if not warmed up for drag),
20,25,30mph roll...would really run the tach w/cold tires.
I have PSS's,,,but never got chance to run them.
RIP:2011 370z 7A/T w/3.69:1 Diff. & only a tick of negative camber.
Looking forward to next build!
You will likely light up anything you try below a certain temp/speed.

I'm just seeing you're 7A/T as well...I still have factory 3.357 diff w/Quaife helical locker & would break them loose also,,,but not like the 3.69 gearing.
4.92:1 1st gear & 2nd gear nearly as low as a stick car's 1st......fun to drive.

I'd say for a bit of drag and street go with the PS4. All out drag the R888 will put the power down hard on dry just not good on the rain. For track use the Pilot Cup 2 tires are beastly and perhaps the best you can buy for track use only. Downside the tire will wear out quickly and they are really expensive.
