Default stillen superchge build results

from a bone stock 370z to a 450rwhp/321rwtq beast
total cost ($9200.00)
total time from drop off to pick-up one week,1 day

thxs to the guys at JE Import for the install and tune the car runs great

ark exhaust with random tech hfc's

stillen supercharger install @ je Imports

dyno this is at about 8psi

prelim. results

pros :
v-3 is very quiet blower
the car pulls very hard from about 4k to redline very differnt car
in person the kit looks great under the hood

cons :

very expensive project lot more then i planned
growth maybe limited with the air-water-intake set-up after a few runs that intake manifold is very hot
in centr. type supercharger fashion no real power below 4k = dont race the big boys from a dig lol
and as we all know i will need to get an oil cooler the car's oil is 220-250 deg.---a little sprint and its sitting at 245-250 not good

track times and more pic/videos to come

next stillen headers,clutch/flywheel and retune (then i am done on the performance )

ect.. maybe a nice vented hood would help keep that intake a little cooler

how can you say the car run great with little power below 4k RPMs and it reaching 250 with as you say, "a little sprint"? Especially since your average high in Baltimore is under 90 degrees. This wouldnt hold up down here in 105 degree weather....

(im not a GTM fan boy, just evaluating what the OP said)

I don't see an oil cooler, that's probably why the oil temps shot up so quickly. A 25 row is a must but I would rather have a 34 row to be safe with forced induction. That thing sounds mean on the dyno though! Great bang for the buck.

Yea fuct true I was even thinking of adding water/meth to the mix If the oil cooler can't keep the oil temp spikes down

I never got a bone stock dyno

I will be hitting the track on Friday I need to get an idea of what the cars trap speed is dyno numbers sound nice but your trap speeds can tell you a lot

Clean install. Congrats!

Dumb question... how does it feel compared to your Mustang?

Cool. Glad to have another SC beast in the area.

Good luck at the track. I could not get any traction at Crapitol the other night, but I do suck at launching in go strait racing. More of a road course / AutoX guy myself.

Looks nice.. BTW maybe a dumb question but how does the water circulate through the cooler / intake manifold. Does it have a pump or something?

5th image down, look at the intake manifold and then to the right of it. The black rectangular box is the pump.

i don't think meth injection will cool down your oil temps. intake temperature yeah and will let you advance timing or up the boost more safely.

there's a pump mounted near the drivers side fender and recirculates coolant into the tiny intercooler inside the intake manifold back through the heat exchanger.

that's just the coolant reservoir.
