Expecting 10 years out of any aftermarket FI setup is asking a lot, IMHO. You might get lucky, especially if you baby it. But if you drive an aftermarket FI-modded car for 10 years and really drive it, in terms of planning ahead you should probably just assume at least one major event leading to expensive engine repair and/or replacement at your own cost.
If I wanted to keep a fun car for 10 years and not have to replace the engine during that time, I would just avoid FI.
