Hey guys, guess it's a good time to join and start posting.
I was really wondering about the strange charge piping and see that it's been changed to a more normal setup. I'm curious Ryan what made you decide to go with 3" piping now. I measured the throttle bodies O.D. to be about 2.70", so I went with 2.75" piping for my cold pipes. You had to use some reducer couplers I assume, unless the Z TBs are different from my G37? |

I think I've watched it more than everyone combined. After all the troubles I've had, it keeps putting a smile on my face. Can't wait to take this beast down the 1/4. With as good as the tune seems now, I'm tempted. |
That made me make this face:
http://img.ffffound.com/static-data/...964fc466_m.jpg Thank you for the speedo shot, I love seeing these types of videos and there are unfortunately not that many out there of FI'ed Zs accelerating. |
Im glad it all worked out for your Ryan!!
|
So driving home today...normally, not boosting...I pull away from a red-light and almost stall. I thought to myself "that's weird?" Then I notice there's only so little pressure maybe for an inch off the ground and then after that, there is no pressure. At one point, it was stuck to the ground.
Does this mean my Master Cylinder is bad? I already have the upgraded CSC. I can't fuggin win!! |

I'll have to give it a shot and hope I have the luck you guys have had. I drove it to breakfast this morning and it was better.
|
Ummm, huh? You have the Southbend or Zspeed CSC? Have you checked for leakage? Wassup with the GREMLINS and YOUR CAR dude? Beat'em off with a stick if you have to. You are making me nervous......
Hopefully, you can get some warranty work done and your ride will be back to shredding pavement. |
There isn't a southbend CSC, only Zspeed makes them. The only other type of CSC are the ones made for OS Giken clutches.

Zerolift has been working with Competition Clutch to get an alternative to the OS Giken Twin Plate that should be released soon (or may be available now), but I will know for sure once I get my invoice and track down the parts listed. Thanks for the input though......... |
