With all the reports of a bad master cylinder, that's what I'm suspecting. But I drove it to a bar Saturday night and to get yogurt last night and the pedal pressure is back to normal. I dont want to take it to Nissan just for them to have the opportunity to boost my car and say "we can't replicate the problem ".

The same dealer I bought my car from test drove my boosted G35 without my permission while I was signing papers and cracked my Top Secret front bumper.

roplusbee 08-29-2011 09:55 AM

Ouch. I totally understand.

crosby4416 08-29-2011 01:32 PM

So did you have to go with a custom intercooler design out of necessity or could u find that design and it just wasnt cost effective to do it?

98intrigue 08-29-2011 05:05 PM

Well, unfortunately I can't make it to Z Nationals:shakes head:

I'm not exactly sure what you're asking...

The first intake piping was horrible from the getgo...but Lutz assured me it would work. The way the intake piping is done now is the way it should hav e been done from the getgo.

sorry for not being more precise, i was referring to the intercooler itself, i was curious if there were any other intercoolers you guys found that were the same design (the single bottom outlet and dual top exits) out on the market. I wasnt sure that if they were out you guys just didnt wanna spend the money on a new one seeing he had it laying around or if it woulda just been cheaper outright if there was one available on the market, i wasnt able to find any when i breezed through awhile back looking for a design just like that myself

He had it laying around and it's good for 550hp, so I said yes. When he told me about the ProCharger intercooler he had laying around, I started doing research on vertical row intercoolers and seeing what my options were. If you are seriously interested in a dual top inlet, single bottom outlet, I'd PM Sam at GTM...those are the intercoolers he provides with his SC kit. Otherwise, you can just buy a core and have a fabricator weld on the endtanks.

:tiphat: Not too sure yet on the hours. I start September 12th...I'll be the Receiving Technician Lead for BayCare. It's one of the biggest, if not the biggest, Health Care Systems in the Tampa Bay area. My brother has been with them for 20yrs and started in the warehouse... and now is Director of Contracting and is 3 positions away from the CEO. He makes GREAT money. I'm glad to know I have opportunities to move up, where as my current job was stagnant.

Congrats! Got to keep movin'!

Which health care system? I work for Adventist Health System (Florida Hospital). We just entered into a merger over there at UCH.

Edit: oops...Just realized you answered my question already. Baycare? Hmm..haven't heard of them...but I don't get over there too often.

HKYStormFront 09-01-2011 07:43 AM

sounds like a good move, congrats ryan! wish you could still come to Z Nats tho

BayCare has 11 hospitals/outpatient centers and have 2 news hospitals under construction. Their big named ones are Mease/MortonPlant Hospital and St. Joseph's Hospital.

No nightly boosting last night. It poured from about 430pm until I went to bed. Literally everytime I wash my car, it rains within 24hrs damnit!

I'll get some for you. There's a picture posted in this thread somewhere when they were first installed.

Good luck! It's been a pain in the *** build...but that's only because of the bad engineering of the kit. The car runs great now, aside from my PS leak and exhaust leak...all thanks to Lutz Performance.

Oh, and with my new smaller intercooler, I sat at idle with the AC on and the coolant light didn't budge (which means the coolant temp never went past 220F). With the old intercooler, the temps would have surpassed that within 2 mins. Also, my oil temps seem to be around 200F at cruise, rather than 220-230 previously. Boosting now has seen 220-225F, where as previously was 230-245F. The extra 13" of air getting through the engine bay due to the smaller intercooler has made a significant difference.

Ron 09-02-2011 08:01 AM

^^ Thanks man. Temps are right on the spot too! Get those leaks sorted and you'll be golden!

Nah, I like knowing I can shut the door and hide them if I want to. And no, post up a pic.

SPOHN 09-02-2011 07:00 PM

Just click on my journal in my sig and go to the last page. But yea I understand wanting to close the door. But when it's open that means business. Lol.

b1adesofcha0s 09-02-2011 10:55 PM

I like how you can hide them behind the door

SPOHN 09-02-2011 11:05 PM

Come on guys. That's like hiding your penis behind a condom. But I guess they still know it's there. :icon17:

roplusbee 09-04-2011 11:19 AM

LOL......never thought about it like that. Glad you got the quest for coolness completed......

98intrigue 09-05-2011 12:27 PM
