Now as far as making 460 at the wheels, c'mon thats bogus. The Stillen/Vortech head unit moves much more volume and to the best of my knowledge they haven't even seen those kind of numbers, (YET)!

If you want to make 450+ you are going to need to turbo the car, plain and simple!
Tony, you don't need a twin turbo to make 450+ RWHP. What is really bogus and unprofessional is for you to keep taking shots at us at all the time. It is true when they say you can't teach an old dog new tricks.

FYI we Made 459 to the wheel 2 years ago. Here is the dyno graph.

Hey Sam I have a couple of questions is this a stage 1 dyno chart correct?

If So what's the difference between this car ,and most of the Stage 1 dyno charts that customers have on the forum's. Most of them seem to fall between 400-420whp.

The reason I ask this is because I have seen some dyno charts of Stage 1 and 2 Stock cats/no cats and exhaust. The Whp in them seem to vary, this is something I have always wondered

Thanks in advance for your response.

Yes, this is a stage one dyno graph from our first R&D car Posted in our press release two years ago. Here is the link GTM Performance Engineering 370Z SUPERCHARGER KIT PRESS RELEASE. In this dyno graph the car was tuned aggressively and the supercharger had a wide open intake, As we have stated before. The sole purpose if going through this exercises is to really see what the charger C38-81 can do and that is why we always knew that the stage 1 blower had a lot more in it left performance wise .

Sense day one our goal was to offer a system that works around the car and have as little impact on the car as possible. The stage one kit does exactly that and that is why you see the consistency in the results in relation to our advertise horse power levels.

Once we start focusing on the performance goals over little impact on the car as possible, by changing motor mounts, bigger intake and such, we were able to maximize the same charger C38-81 potential and get better results .

Now we know that the C38-81 will max out at a little over 500 RWHP as demonstrated in this thread GTM Performance Engineering: Stage 1 Supercharger Upgrade Kit 500whp capable .

As for the variation that you might be referring to, it's mostly when we are in research and development phase, but ones the product is released i think you will see a great consistency in all our product.

I hope i have answered all you questions.

I really hate seeing this, two of the most useful & contributing vendors to the Z and G community not getting along. How amazing would it otherwise be if I could get an FI turbo back exhaust tailored for a stage II GTM turbo kit.

Come on fellas, I'll buy you both beer and offer you a stay in Dubai

G37Sam,

The offer is much appreciated. I would love to make a trip down to Dubai and see all of you! I would like to make it work with GTM, believe me I have tried! We could of made a lot of people happy working together and put out a lot of great joint products. We are only one hour away from each other so it would not be hard.

As far as the exhaust, I have a 3" exhaust that will mate up to the GTM TT kit perfectly. The exhaust is almost perfected and I did it to show the community that we want to support everyone with a TT kit. It does not matter if it is an FI TT kit (Summer 2012 release) or a GTM TT kit or a Greddy TT kit. Our exhaust is designed to fit them all! We support the community very passionately this exhaust hopefully shows that!

Thank you, Tony

460whp is what intro level TT's are running, are we to believe that the stage 1 SC and TT make the same power? Still I'm with RCZ on this one, GTM led us to believe more, clearly the stage 1 compressor is not enough.

BTW I'm a huge fan of Tony's long tube headers. Every SC setup I've ever seen, headers and exhaust setups at 2.5" have increased power not robbed.

Shumby made 390 rwhp at 6 lbs with stock exhaust manifolds and stock cat's. Not sure what exhaust he had.
Headers and high flow cats will cost you boost and RHWP.

Just like Drag Radials will cost you E.T's at the track

Clearly the GTM stage 1 kit does not flow enough air plain and simple look at the graphs his numbers start to die off after he hits 8psi.

Secondly dont hold your breath for the stage 2 kit...

If GTM made 460 rwhp then just think what my stage 2 will make.
I will be happy if it makes 450 rwhp. (if it ever gets to me ).
It looks like the average GTM makes around 400 rwhp and that not SAE measured.
The real # would be around 388 to 390 SAE.

I think the inability to tune VVEL has always been the limiting factor, once they crack it everyone using F.I. is going to see massive gains.
