Well. I've been in both the stillen and the GTM. A dealer here in chicago has a g37 with a stillen in it. I'm not going to lie, it was nice. I was on the fence toward getting a stillen but in the end decided on the GTM. When i test drove the stillen kit it was in an automatic COUPE. It really picked up and went. What i was reading is the possible warranty with the carb kit. Then i read more and talked to stillen more and found out that the warranty is through them (not a bad thing I thought at the time) but also the carb kit will be limited in hp as well.
I wanted a clean look as well. I personally got up in around the stillen supercharger. Listened to it and looked at the install. The new intake manifold was ok. It didnt make my heart sing that is for sure. Looking at the GTM, what I like about it right away was the clean stock look it presents. The stillen is diffentaly more flashy in the engine bay.

Now my car is a VERT manual. WHen driving it, I can definately feel a difference. Lower end felt a lot better. I really felt it had more power overall. The auto has the gearing to make it feel faster and is actually faster, but not now.

Josh from stillen was very nice and answered everyone of my questions. So did Sam.

My opinion is Thank GOD I went with GTM now that I see the issues pop up. Now there are people who have installed both and they are working great on CUSTOM tunes. Did my car have issues at first. Yep. Did sam fix them right away. You betcha.

Yes I have the GTM stage one kit. There are actually 2 threads on my car on this site so I will not gointo details. 390HP 350TQ 6.5 psi pully. This was my choise and i still ripped my trans out of the car. lost the upper gears. This is do to my driving style and has nothign to do with the GTM kit. I was just to hard on the upper gears. ( well as z elim or Zat would say my wife was lol.) Had the hot start issue that the first 3-4 that Sam did had. Fix with a simple reflash within one day of talking to Sam. My trans is on its way down to Sam now to get some work done. This is the only issue I have with Sam it is taking him forever to get the trans to him. After the trans is upgraded I will be putting the 8 PSI pully on and getting the new intake to run my LTH's hoping at that [point to see 430-440hp at my wheels. ( might do the dyno on a day when it is -50C and scew the numbers. lol)

I'm about 6 hours into the install.. DIY. Replaced the fuel pump one evening and then started the tear down last night.. GTM's instructions are pretty spot on. I've never gotten into a project this involved, but feel real confident that the rest of the install should go smoothly (famous last words I know)

Keep us posted. I'm in the West Loop and would love to lend a hand and/or check it out once you're finished. I'm curious how tough you'll think it was once you're done.

Funny part about that is I am single with the SC and JB-370z is married with the TT. In Houston we do things differently though.

Lol good one I fall right under that category right now with a supercharger. I will be adding a Stillen review to this thread over the next month.

I'm married also with a 18month old girl... and I have a TT . Thats the true test.. If you can get a 12k TT kit while being married with children it shows that YOU wear the pants!

Lol. You guys are hilarious. My justification would be, "I could have bought a more expensive car like a GTR, but I decided to save money and buy something cheaper and work on that."

Even with the amount of money the average person puts into a car to either turbo or supercharge, it will still not touch the GTR's premium cost. Plus, a lot of people like sticking with rear wheel drive - it has a more sports car enthusiast feel. I'm still upset the GTR is an automatic and doesn't offer a manual version.

Plus I wanted the luxury of the G as well over the GTR and the GTR's top does not fold down. Try going through twisties with the top down. Its awesome.

To Wei. Definitely your are for going through 2 s/c
