Just wanted to add a little more info for everyone.

Matt’s car was running fine with the standard 8 lb pulley but Matt wanted take advantage of the available 93 octane fuel in his area and make more power (don’t we all) so he purchased some high flow cats and we sent him a 9 lb pulley. He then had the car custom tuned. We do not know anything about the specific tuning (A/F ratios, timing curves, etc) that was done on the car. This particular tuner is a premier UpRev tuning shop and absolutely knows the vehicle as they did the original custom tune with the 8 lb pulley.

We have talked with UpRev about the issues Matt is having and they have agreed to talk with the tuner to try and help. UpRev continually is analyzing the different ECU MAPS that are installed in the NISSAN and INFINITI Z and G’s as we are at STILLEN.

Sorry, but your statement isn't totally accurate. This issue was present WITH the standard 8lb pulley. And it still remains with the 9lb pulley.

But i appreciate you getting UpRev involved, hopefully we can sort this out.

Sorry Matt, thank you for the clarification!

By the way, I'm going to shoot you a PM in a moment. I have an idea about something to look at.

Relearn and recalibrate the idle. It could be a glitch in the UpRev tune too.

It could also be the timing is retarded too much.

so options for wieboy. run rich and spend $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ in gas . or run lean and spend $$$$$$$$$$$$$ in a new VQ when it blows. decisions decisions.

I get like 250 Miles out of a tank. I never wait till I'm out of gas though, so its not really 18gal, but closer to 16.5gal... so its probably around 15mpg. I don't baby my car either..

But Goldilocks whats it just right

My gas mileage only has been hurt because i am harder on the accel to keep a grin on my face. Highway mileage has actually improved about 1-2mpg on mine.
