See, I can't tell if you are being condescending or not. I would assume you are since you made sure I knew the FX was an suv and there's a wink at the end. I know a lot gets lost on the internet though, so I'm gonna just assume you're not being a jackhole and you're just being clever.

Been thinking about it, its theoretically possible! Considering I'm running at less than half steam of what the unit can do, one could roughly estimate that I should see 9 psi of boost from 3500rpm to redline. Obviously there's no way of knowing without trying it. Also, only one boost controller would be involved and at least 15 bov's though, can't have enough BOV's.

It was done on a SC'd mustang before, its on the web somewhere if you look it up. The result was instant torque and a flat power curve.

Hahaha you crack me up with this BS! I am not out to get you RCZ and I am not going to keep repeating that!

Now, as for the FX, there is a guy here in Houston that has a turboed FX with a BBK Etc. I love the new look of the FX and I know its only a matter of time until they do away with the VQ35 and add the VQ37. As of now I know Protech makes a supercharger for the FX. I’m sure one of the SC makers with make one for the FX37 when it comes out. I currently have a turbocharged SUV but a Supercharged SUV would be nice too if it had a VQ37 in it! So am I being condescending...NO... And you are right it is hard to judge peoples demeanor only by the words and icons they choose to use in a post. And I think the FX37 paired with a supercharger could be a good contender for a Porsche Cayenne! The Cayenne has 500hp to the crank, and other companies are getting the automatic tranny beefed up soon so I think that the price of a supercharger with tranny upgrades would put me right in the golden zone vs. going turbo. I think there is an AWD version of the FX too! A supercharger on the FX would make it a blast to dive and if someone found a way to add BOV’s would make it even better ;)

FYI the FX 37 is already out in the UK. Now to get to the point i want a SC on my FX%)S. way better then SC on FX37.

And don't forget it is me that is out to get RCZ. the stillen nut swinger

haha, I just can't keep track of who hates me and who doesn't anymore, my apologies.

With regards to the FX, meh I don't really get that either. I wouldn't spend money making my truck faster. Whats the point lol? Its supposed to be the chill-out grocery getter. I'd rather just get a cayanne S or an X5 and call it a day.

Shumby, you sly fox you.

shumby 11-26-2010 09:52 AM

X5 boooo your tast in BMW's is as bad as your taste in SC's. The X6 would be the way to go.

The Cayanne S is 60-70k though. I love to mod all my rides and plus going to get groceries while hitting boost is a blast :happydance::driving: Not a huge BMW fan :( Maybe a Cayanne S if someone makes a turbo or what not for it but then I would be over budget! ALl my rides got boost!

Edit: would not suprise me if Stillen did somthing for the FX!

Ya and if it is as good as the SC for the G35 and now G37 we all know we need to stear well clear of it.

christian370z 11-26-2010 11:23 AM

If you ever supercharger the new FX, those brakes need some serious beefing up after all the tests showing a huge amount of fade after a few panic stops (even after Infiniti's fix). Other than that, I rode in one and it felt like the chassis far outclassed the powertrain.

shumby 11-26-2010 11:31 AM

35 or 50?

JB-370z 11-26-2010 11:52 AM

Stoptech makes a bbk for the FX ;)

RCZ 11-26-2010 12:22 PM

Honestly out of all the SUV's I prefer the X5. We used to have one a few years ago. The 4.4L and it was an amazing car. I would buy one in an instant. They do offer a X5 M JB, thats a twin turbo 4.8l V8. A little fiddling with the ecu and you are looking at 600hp.

Stillen are you atleast workign on the issue of some of your kits and the pre detioation? Are you looking at tunes? hardware? any chance of an update?

JB-370z 11-26-2010 01:53 PM

detioation is not good. Sounds like people should buy a HKS AFK2 when they buy this kit so they can keep on the look out for knock!
