Who knows what problems will happen with either one of these kits.
I was thinking or installing the GTM turbo and cancalling the SC, but after reading the lateist post's i'm not sure what to do.
I have an oil cooler and tranny cooler coming from GTM.
I think that i will take the adapter and coolers and make my own lines.
I am having nightmares of what would happen if an oil line let go at 110 miles per hour while running down the 1/4 mile!!!
It could be " bye bye 370Z and lots of pain if it flips and hits the concrette barriers"
if the oil hits the back wheels.
Could be time to sell the Z and get the new mustang.
I think your over-reacting a bit.

1. The concern about the oil cooler is legitmate. Hopefully it was just a batch of some bad cables. I have beaten the crap out of my car and mine is holding up well. >7k miles.

2. The other story was cleared up by Sharif, and dont forget the customer took it to GTM and they are the ones who ended up finishing the project. From what I understand everything is working as intended after it was completed by GTM. The problem was with bad employees at FP that Sharif said no longer work their anymore. **** happens, I'm glad he cleared it all up!

Relax man...

I agree there is definitly some risk involved but I feel the supercharger is a pretty safe bet. A whole lot more could go wrong with TT setup. I think if you had an oil pressure gauge with an alarm you could shut things down pretty fast before damage occurs.

I think you should stay in the game with the GTM SC kit and roll with it. I want this kit so bad I can taste it but it wont be until this summer or early fall before I have enough saved up for it. I am not even going to mess with an oil cooler, I really dont think I need one for my application. My Z is is strictly a recreational vehicle and I plan to track it here at Bandemere but nothing serious. Denver is pretty moderate in the summer and nice and cool in the winter.

I have learned to keeping things simple and to a large degree "if it aint broke dont fix it" attitude will save your wallet. Whenever I have got all gung ho in modifying something then stuff starts breaking.

I dont think it would be a good idea to make your own oil lines, then the liability is all on you.

Dood don't worry it was my cooler that blew up and look at what i did, True high pressure bulletproof (almost literally) lines that you could hang the engine from without worrying about them breaking. There HAS to be a hydraulic shop near you that could do the same, just look for heavy equipment repair or sales like backhoes. The line i posted is one of the only ones i could find that was good for over 300 degree temps though make sure you specify what hydraulic line you want used.

Edit: don't believe the hype and stay away from the muffstain it's still going to have the build quality of a giant pile of poo, and not be able to turn.

Sam called me and offered to send me a TT kit and a the SC kit and i could pick which one i wanted. He explaned all the issues with the TT kit and that there was no issues when they re installed it.
I will be staying with the SC, it will be the first one that he sends out.
He told me that he does not make any parts for mustangs.
