Good to see the Rotrex being used on the platform . Us Honda J series guys use it as our primary big power kit however now many have it as people don't really mess with Honda v6 stuff. The creator of the kit used the rotrex due to its size (these blowers are small af), it's efficiency and potential. I have a c38r, not pushing it all the way. Looking forward to what this is capable of in this platform

I'm not sure if Ecutek has boost by gear for the 370Z yet

I was also considering other ways of using vehicle speed/RPM programming to limit boost also....
Just spit-balling, I heard rumors that the 7AT doesn't like boost in higher gears. Not something I am sure needs to be chased yet..... |

I dont want to put pre-drawn conclusions on the whp this kit will make. 800whp is a very high number. That is almost 1000bhp. Either way this kit is going to put a lot of guys in the "need a built motor" area if they want to maximize the kit and also have a reliable setup. However for guys that want modest power and not place the stock engine at its limits then we have options for that also. This is why we are offering the kit with a boost control option. It allows the user to chose when they want to really put power down and adjust it back for daily. Auto transmission guys will benefit from this immensely. Also, a benefit is that it will shift the curve to the left of the graph where we will notice higher power and torque lower in the RPM band which makes the car...faster.
Again, the goals are that we will offer the highest horsepower, out of the box supercharger kit available and we have seen the ACE kit making 650whp on E85. Also, this is the only high horsepower kit that will offer a full filter setup while minimizing power loss. We are going to dyno the kit with just a turbo guard on the first few pulls to see its potential and then put the intake and filter on and see how much we make. I am guessing it will be around 2psi loss but I am hoping that at even a loss like that it will still make more power with filtered air then all these other SC cars with no filter at all.

Patrick, I remember about 3 years back when I explained to you how to set that up. However, I have a new technique which modifys the BPV to achieve the same result without the added cost of a WG.
Engineering win! I'm sure it will be copied soon after.. again. But it will still benefit the community.

Your new technique sounds interesting. And of course it will be copied, just like the wastegate set up has. Actually, I'm surprised more haven't done the wastegate.

The Vortech V3 just can't handle being overspun to be able to produce that kind of boost. I like the V2 but when we couldn't get the Ti to make the power it should have been capable of and the lack of support from Vortech, I've decided to go tt's instead. Of course I made that decision prior to you releasing the info on the Rotrex kit.
