I will add that it's funny to see Admin Tuning and SOHO exclusively promote themselves on FB. Nick seemed to post here occasionally, but my opinion is that he knows the forum would back you and cause him a headache. Same to be said for Admin vs R/T, Seb, MA, etc.

Keep up the dedication to the platform! Your prior A2A kit was my Z goal and the new ACE Kit has taken its place!

Yeah, the first time I ever used facebook outside of keeping in touch with friends and family was when I built this new ACE kit to get the word around better. By that time Soho had their "followers" and I missed out on a lot of that audience. I really do not enjoy facebook.

I don't mind competition but it sucks when you are the one that comes up with the idea, take the time to turn it into a reality, spend the money to bring it to the community, then someone swoops in to steal it from under you. I beleive their exact words were "theres only 1 way to make an air to air kit for this stillen platform so we didnt have a choice, just like a cell phone, one company made it then others copied it"... Guess I proved that wrong.

And don't worry, I am dedicated to this platform and will always be coming out with something better.

Hey team! This kit looks amazing compared to other options out there!! I've got a bone stock motor with upgraded cooling for track days: bigger radiator plus oil cooler. I'm in Denver with roads varying from 5280ft (mile high) up to 11k ft on I70 for mountain drives.

- Has anyone installed this kit from stock?
- Has anyone used this kit at elevation?
- Are there additional mods for a highly stable/safe build? I've read about using the CJ fuel top hat, and something about an e85 sensor - but don't know the efficacy of those recommendations.

Note, I have a '08 Subaru spec.B @ 408awhp / 454awtq so I'm familiar with the boosted life...and e85 life for that matter lol

I can help out here...

Lots of guys have installed this kit from stock. What questions do you have surrounding this? I can email you the install instructions if that helps.

BTW. When I developed my Gen 1 kit it was in my garage when I lived in Denver. Miss that place. This thing would be a blast going up pikes peak, backside of Evergreen and boulder canyon to name few!

Mods should be FRS, Resonated Test pipes, AFR and Boost gauge. If you are going E85 its nice to know what E content you have unless you have flex fuel tuning.

Hit up Jason at demarsjcd@gmail.com He is in Englewood CO. He just finished his install and his car is at the shop getting his new amuse bumper painted. BTW. Thanks, this is very helpful! Heh yeah I love it here...having two mountain road carvers would be great though the Z is fun now...the spec.B is like a toy and just does anything I want heh.

This is the first I’ve heard of test pipes - would that be ok to do at a later point? I’m hoping to work on this by myself for now since all the garages are busy and then get it tuned by boostcreep or 5250 at some later point - and could have them do the test pipes before the tune.

Tell me more about the flex fuel tuning - what’s needed to pull that off?
My spec.B is a pain to have to measure the e content all the time and load the appropriate e70 or e85 maps I have; and if the Z could be flex that’d be dreamy.

I'm running NGK Iridium DILKAR8A8 gapped I believe at 0.032. They are the same ones the GTR uses.

Thank you for the info. I thought Aaron was still including these in the kits, but apparently not, so I have to source them elsewhere.

Any update on the Precision Turbo BOV's? I think a few of us are just waiting on this last part before the build can start. I have all of my supporting mods in and am just waiting on this part before the build date.

I know PT has been having some issues supplying parts.

Maybe this has been answered, I haven't read all 2000+ posts. Can the original size Nismo tires handle 500 HP? It's my understanding that the auto trans can handle about 500 HP.

I think that it all depends on your driving style. I'm currently on my stock tires but plan on upgrading once I wear these ones out. If your looking to launch, then I would definitely look to upgrade.

I upgraded my tires to the PS4S tires just after a few months of ownership. The original tires only had 2,500 miles on them, and were brand new, but after having the ART pipes and Garageline system installed (my only power upgrade at this time), the tires were getting loose and squirrely. I noticed immediately upon upgrading the tires that the rubber in the originals was much harder, and prone to loss of traction. FYI, the shop owner who mounted the tires was not happy with those rears on the factory wheels. He said they took nearly a couple hours apiece!

Current output to the wheels is 269tq/312hp. I didn't do a "before" dyno run, so I don't know what it was from the factory, but I understand it might be possible I have a "ringer" engine. Like others, I'm waiting on the BOV for the kit.

It's a centrifugal kit, doesn't make a ton extra torque. I've actually had little to no traction issues at 450whp on all season tires. First gear will spin yeah, but if I mash the gas in 2nd usually there's actually no spin.
