I think he may be talking about the 9lb pulley and extra tensioner pulley on the serpentine side.

I am trying to get away from the "8psi" and "9psi" pulley terminology that stillen uses on their water to air kits. It confuses guys. I literally have guys always asking why they will only get 9psi and they want more.

Want to really confuse them, call them the 2.87 jackshaft pulley on the serpentine side and the sti tensioner pulley. :icon14::rofl2:

there is an instructional pdf. If you had his first version, then this one is a breeze to install. Especially because you dont have to deal with Stillen's dumb *** intake manifold. I would assume he doesnt want to give it out due to people trying to copy his kit **cough cough SOHO cough cough**

BT370Z 05-01-2020 04:11 PM

I’m sure it is a breeze comparatively speaking lol but it’s not unreasonable to expect an instructional to review when considering shelling out $$$$... and further, he previously mentioned one was in the works, hence the question.

I'm dying to get my hands on this upgrade. The Texas heat with the stock Stillen kit is killing my potential of power. Topgunz help me please!

Unfortunately I still need to install the coolant tank, filter, and pulleys. Should be about a week or two hopefully

1cleanZ 05-08-2020 10:19 AM

Congrats Aaron on this setup man. You truly took into consideration user feedback on your prior setups, and shows extreme initiative making the changes you did. I know Tony is extremely happy with how everything turned out, especially after him wanting to boost for years. You hit and surpassed all his expectations which says a lot!

Is this one going to be on e85? What pre-filter are you using on the turbo guard?

DrBacon 05-11-2020 06:20 AM

Is the intake available for purchase separately yet? Going back to the states at the end of the month and would like to make a few changes to the car while stuck in the two week forced self-quarantine.

Yes, this is going to be on E85. He wont hit the dyno until June though.

However, E85 numbers should be coming today from a different build, I hope.

Right now there are 3 intake options.

Old K&N, Gen 1 style = 11psi SC must be removed for cleaning
Velocity Intake w/prefilter = 14psi Can be removed for cleaning without removing SC (5 minute job)
Turbo Guard = 16psi

RumbleFish 05-11-2020 12:52 PM

I haven't been around in a while but, WOW! TopGunz, you are the man.

One of these days, I'm getting this kit.

V8Killer 05-11-2020 01:42 PM

Looking like we have a good chance of getting those numbers tomorrow.

93, VP110, and E85 along with and with out the filter numbers

Scratch that spoke too soon, found out we were missing a wire harness for the fuel system. Charles has been notified and looks like Wednesday is the new day for tune. Sorry fellas

I sure will!

Right now I have done some in Anodized and Powder Coat. Taking a set to the coater today for White for a customer, which I am going to try to laser etch on to leave a logo.

I have not looked into ceramic coating.

chuckie311 05-14-2020 12:45 PM

sounds good.. if not i can get them ceramic coated here just thought it might be another option if you had it available..

What are your guys opinions on colors for piping?

Gloss Black, Gloss Red, Matte Black, High Texture Black, Low Texture Black, or Low Texture Red?

Personally, the Low Texture Red looks awesome in person and is what I would choose. Now, this might clash if you have a Red car so there will be another black option.

I’m torn between the gloss red and low texture red. I want it to match my red Power Stop brake calipers.

High Texture Black and Low Texture Red

ZontheRocks 05-15-2020 02:08 PM

This kit is my 'one day' dream and as such I will throw my opinion in: low texture black and low texture red are my favorite of those presented.

Trips 05-15-2020 08:04 PM

I’m going to ask that members who are leaving negative tags because they’re bored to STOP!

I don’t see any reason why we need to keep doing this.

No further warnings will be given if it continues.

MIGHTYMOUSE 05-15-2020 08:38 PM

i'd go with gloss black or textured black.

MIGHTYMOUSE 05-15-2020 08:46 PM

Nice work! looks like a great kit to start with and exactly what I'm looking for.

what's the best way to place an order?
what is the estimated turn around time from the moment the order is made to receiving all parts?
how much is a full kit and what exactly is all included in these kits?

Right now I am telling guys 4-6 weeks.

I hope this is going on the G37 as it will not fit that Q50 ATM.
