Announcing TopgunZ ACE Supercharger Kit!

5 Attachment(s)
Introducing the TopgunZ ACE kit!

We all know how much of an improvement my original Air to Air kit released in 2015 was over the Water to Air on the Stillen kit. The extra power it could handle placed the centrifugal supercharger into a whole new level for the VQ37VHR platform. With the addition of several power upgrades I came out with a full Topgunz supercharger kit and I have sold many of those kits.

As always, there was room for improvement.

Customer feedback:
Problem: The Y pipe design isn’t the greatest as it still is not a true dual intake setup from the intercooler and can be difficult to get installed.

Solution: Build a kit that is a true dual intake setup and easier to install

Problem: The Stillen manifold is very hard to install with those blind bolts.

Solution: Delete the Stillen manifold and use the proven OEM manifold.

Problem: The MAF and Throttle Body extension harnesses go bad all the time!

Solution: Delete the MAF and TB extension harnesses

Problem: Cutting into the pinch weld of the frame is hard to get to and is a headache.

Solution: No need to cut into the frame.

Problem: The intercooler on the first Topgun kit isn’t as big as I'd like since I am going for over 600whp.

Solution: Utilize the biggest interooler that will fit.

Problem: The intake filter is restrictive and requires the removal of the supercharger to clean.

Solution: Create a high flowing metal intake that allows the use of a giant filter in a place easy to access.

Problem: I already have Uprev and like my Uprev tuner but the MAF's max out.

Solution: Upgrade to 3" intake pipes

Dyno results to follow. Pricing and Sales will start soon. Expect similar pricing as previous kit.

Full Turn Key Kits will be available with Custom tune!

How will we go about running an speed density tune
Is there somewhere in the manifold to run a map sensor

Yes, there is a factory MAP sensor in the manifold already. It just needs to be swapped to one with a higher range. (Omni 4 bar).

Aaron, where will the coolant overflow tank be relocated to?

deportedflip 11-13-2019 10:23 AM

are you going to be selling this setup separate?

vq37818 11-13-2019 10:30 AM

Can’t wait to see dyno results!

It will sit in that area between the passenger side intake and the engine.

Yes, this kit will be a conversion kit for those with the stillen water kit.

Me either!

Do you have a dyno date? Will it only have the 9lb pulley upgrade for the dyno run?

JLarson 11-13-2019 11:31 AM

I like the shot capturing part of your FARO arm. Did you use the scanning tool?

Yes, it will have the 2.8/3.2/3.2 combo with the Si impeller.

Yes sir!

Damn dude you never cease to impress the Z community with your awesome inventions! I absolutely love the idea of the stock manifold over the stillen manifold that requires miniature dwarves to help you install and remove!

Here's hoping for the best bro!

Question:

For those that already have your previous kits, but want to still convert to the more stock-look using the stock manifold to make your kit work, would you be willing to have a package sold for that as well or nah?

cupcakez 11-13-2019 04:16 PM

[QUOTE=TopgunZ;3889107]Yes, it will have the 2.8/3.2/3.2 combo with the Si impeller.

Your dyno run will include or not include any air filter of any kind? Turbo guard? Or it will be nothing on top of the blower?

I'm sure it will have his new filter installed.

Cool. I hope so, as well as he will be able to sell the parts needed to convert current A2A kits to this new more stocky look. Here's hoping for the best!

Senna-F1 11-13-2019 04:51 PM

Congratulations Aaron! I know things like this take a lot of time and planning. These things are not easy. The best supercharger kit on the market... JUST GOT BETTER!

bikeking 11-13-2019 07:16 PM

What’s the intake made with? Selling those separately?

Intake manifold? Intake piping?

Pretty sure he's referring to the supercharger inlet to "squarish shaped hole" piece where currently the stock filter sits. There is a thread about redesigning the restrictive filter issue, which this piece (shown as the CAD rendered image) partly addresses.

Yep, I bet you're right. That makes sense.

Rad, this kit looks super clean, easy to install. You are making me second guess my decision to do a high compression NA motor build haha.

DUSHER 11-14-2019 12:05 PM

ofcourse you come out with this right when I buy your other kit:shakes head:

TopgunZ 11-14-2019 12:20 PM

Its not technically "ready" for purchase. It will still take some time to cast the filter intake and replicate all the piping.

Another supercharger company should take notes on how to introduce a new product.

Lol he can just upgrade it I'm pretty sure if he has the previous kits!

Lol. If you want to pay for almost 2 kits. The only thing he can reuse is the supercharger and bracket. Manifold not needed. Intercooler not needed. Filter, not needed. Every pipe, hose, coupler, not needed. To “upgrade” the old kit means buying almost a new complete kit. So yeah, sell it quick.

NorthStyle 11-14-2019 01:58 PM

Aaron, any price difference if trying to purchase with a black SC? (you were checking on the price previously but I don't think you had a chance to reply with a price, but did say it was available)

The black head unit is $200 more.

Oh. I was just thinking that he maybe / hopefully create a package that included some or all of these parts:

- The two intake pipes (L & R)
- Stock Manifold
- His new Air Filter & Connections for it
- All the hoses / connections / couplers for the above parts

Or something along those lines lol.
