Well Tony switched to E85 and we hit the dyno yesterday. Even though the numbers were amazing we had some things fighting us. We took this to a brand new shop here in the twin cities as he was the only one we could find with an open schedule. It is a drive on DynoJet. He didnt have an adapter to hook the boost reference up to. He will get this corrected for our next trip.

Conditions:

FILTER ON Supercharger
90 Degrees Ambient
Supercharger Belt is missing a rib contributing to belt slip at 6800rpm.(no idea how this happened)

We will be changing that belt and heading back in on a cooler day and get a boost reference going. But here is the dyno with numbers.

584whp and 471wtq! That torque is insane!

Really solid jump just switching over to E85!

The real impressive thing is we went up 50 whp but 60wtq!

That should be the other way around by a fair bigger margin.

I think the OEM intake is really helping the TQ numbers.

Scuffy 06-19-2020 01:28 PM

Sheesh!! Those are some excellent numbers. Great job on the new kit. Does anyone happen to know who tuned the car?

JVerge5363 06-21-2020 03:01 PM

So I ordered my kit a few weeks ago thru RT Tuning and they will be doing the install and tune. Unfortunately for me, there is no E85 anywhere near I live so I will be limited to 93 Octane. Just got my new South Bend Clutch installed and breaking it in. Does anybody have any results yet with 93 Octane? Also, is there any other mods or upgrades that I can do to increase my numbers?

Not looking to do any motor work but open to just about anything else. I do have Motordyne ART test pipes and a Berk CBE. I would love to reach around 600hp and 450+ tq. My kit will be coming with the Velocity intake, 1050x injectors and 340lph fuel pump. Would upgrading the injectors or fuel pump make any difference or would that just be overkill? Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks

You'll need to increase boost, that's done by changing pulleys. I don't think that a 340lph pump will support 600whp but I could be wrong. The injectors are fine. You'll also want a return fuel system if you don't already have one.

You can create more power by upping the boost by creating less restriction at the supercharger inlet. By going to just a turboguard and nothing to filter smaller particles you will see around 16psi. This is going to stress the fuel setup like Redondoaveb said so you need a RFS to compensate all that boost pushing against the injectors.

The great thing about the velocity intake is that you can swap from a filtered setup (525whp) to an unfiltered setup (600whp?) in a couple of minutes. Then just switch maps (5 seconds) depending on what boost level you want to run at given the environmental conditions required for filtering air.

TopgunZ 06-22-2020 09:48 AM

We changed the belt out on Tony's car and will be going back to the dyno this week for some new pulls. Judging by his in cabin boost gauge I think we were loosing at least 2psi of boost. This should put us well over 600whp.

Good news! I am going to upgrade you to a 450LPH pump for free!

Oops, when I saw velocity intake, for some stupid reason I was thinking turbo guard and figured he was maxed out intake wise. :o

So does this mean that no pulley change is needed?

If you switch to the turbo guard screen then you'll probably get to 600whp. If not, then a pulley change will be needed. Either that or switch to e85.

Here's a video in Mexico after tuning with Eugene Turkov on E85. CTSV is on E85 as well. This kit freaking pulls! I'm also Widebody with one of my rear wheels with tire weighing at 58lbs..... 10/10 would recommend Topgunz kit and tuning with Eugene.

NOTE: play the video in 1080p!!!

Nice!

More pics / videos of this kit install and in action would be great!

Here you go! This thing not only performs amazing but looks amazing also! Hit 615whp with 476wtq!

You got any pictures of the space between the strut bar and intake piping? Mine doesn't fit on top as it will rub. Did he put spacers to make it fit?

Boost Pressure?
Looks like a Blower Guard and not a filter?
What Fuel?
Why only Rev to 7k?

This is with the newest style filter I send with the kit. On this pull, we had the filterwerks off, but the SB filter on. This is a much better design than the turboguard as it actually protects something from entering the engine bay. I have a video to show what was used then pans to the screen on the dyno to prove we dont run just an open guard like others. This was at 14psi.

This was on E83 judging by the content sensor.

I tried telling the shop owner to move that dang scale over but he just couldnt do it i guess. We did pull this to 7500. Confirmed by Ecutek.

Delivery time is roughly 4-5 weeks.

If shipping over seas, you will need to contact me regarding shipping costs and logistics.

Right but I only need your new version of turbo guard, it's not listed in the page.

My money is burning in my hands!

Same! Lol I just want to get rid of my squished K&N filter! Can I just buy a turbo screen and pre filter online?

AAAAnnnndd... Another one. This guy is taking this to some car shows soon. We will see how he does.

Is anything done to the engine? Some tuner in my area Says 450whp is the safest for any 370z engine. What do your guys think? Nice numbers btw on the kit. I’m interested in this kit but is there anything I would have to do to my engine so it can handle the power or is it safe to run 530 whp? I was planing on doing e85 as well.

I recommend a new tuner. The stock Z motor can handle well over 450whp.

That's what i thought too! i feel like where i live there's no good shops. I seen 370z do low 600 whp with a stock engine.

Mine was doing high 600's with no issues and could be doing more soon.

I got the G1 kit and doing 520whp for around one year on E85, with 89 octane gas 400whp, all doing safety.

This should be the first mod anyone should have from the beginning.
