I think it depends if he can find someone good to go for the piping. Right now the "Fantastic Four" are still waiting. Hopefully in a couple weeks you'll start seeing some progression on build threads to get you guys even more amped up about this kit.

takemorepills 02-05-2020 08:23 PM

I think he's waiting to get the cast pieces.

TopgunZ 02-06-2020 10:42 AM

Yes, I have production moving along and the biggest hangup is the cast pieces. Without those we cannot do the final welding of the 2 intake pipes.

Like Killer said, expect 4 kits to be shipped in full within the month.

redondoaveb 02-06-2020 12:23 PM

Be patient guys, this kit is going to be worth waiting for. :driving:

Can I get on the list for the upgrade?

Hello TopgunZ. I already have your first kit. For this upgraded kit does it come with a 9lb pulley and upgraded impeller or will that be separate cost. Just wondering because I didn’t change it the last time, so I figure if I get the upgraded parts and have to flip the SC housing back around, I may as well do the impeller. Thanks

I do not send pulleys or impellers with my conversion kits. My supercharger kits all ship with the SI head unit and "9psi" pulley.

I would definitely send it off for the upgraded impeller if you only have teh SCI.

Update...

3 kits have shipped except for the piping.

Piping is in production in full swing and it will be shipping next week.

Here is a pic of the new intake mesh. The cannon intake is obsolete compared to this.

So you're going the Turbo-Guard route? ...or am I missing something?

The intake will be fully filtered air. The filter can be removed for cleaning WITHOUT removing the supercharger or bumper. 2 minute job. The intake needs one screw to be fully removed so no need to take out the supercharger at all if you choose to run a turbo guard. The kit will have a ton of options. One is choosing to just run a turbo guard since everyone on Facebook feels the gains outweigh the risk. This will be a cheaper option as turbo guards are only $70.

Other options to be released soon.

Yes, the removable intake will be a drop in for Gen 1.

You could get real lazy and hack saw off the K&N filter so you dont have to remove the supercharger.

takemorepills 02-19-2020 09:08 AM

Can we get a picture of the cast intake elbow installed in a car, with a filter on it?
