Hey folks, we got plenty runs in today. Didn't get the numbers we expected but it was definitely fun and an eye opener. Not that it's a worthy excuse but the surface there was extremely sandy and I was spinning through 1/4 mile. After trying everything I ended up putting Ecutek traction control at 100% which gave me consistent 151mph runs and even then the rear was loose all over the track when shifting. Spoolers best I think was 162 but I'll let him tell it. He should be driving and drinking a mountain dew right now. I was 14 of 48 in rwd and I believe he was 8 of 48 in rwd. I'll speak on it more tomorrow I'm dead tired.

My best was actually 163.5mph and 10th out of 48 RWD cars. I was skating all over the place until I hit 4th or 5th. It is hard to get traction down on dusty old concrete. Your guys need to go look at the times. Full bolt on Tuned GTR's were only running in the 138mph/144mph range. Very few folks were in the 150's or above. So as far as FPenvy, He is not even in the class of our cars. Dig or not. Solidus and I had our hands full. It was UGLY!!! The guys with Quality traction control in our HP range ran in the 177/180mph range. Most notably, 2- 911 Turbo S's that were modified and tuned. The biggest laugh was all the Z06 Corvette's and HellKitties. They were in the 13xmph speeds. That's it. Loud as all get out and slow as molasses.

I will have to think about what I want to do to help with this issue. I know what may work, I am just not sure if I want to keep going. I'll need to think on it. The next mods are not cheap at all.

I was in 6th. RPM I have no idea. Way too many things going on that are more important. I was slipping and
sliding all over the place. It was dang hard to keep my head on straight.

Didn't I read somewhere else that they've had issue's in the past with sand/dirt on the track and people were complaining about the slick dangerous conditions?

No idea. Only us crazy folks would keep our foot in it and keep pushing it. The car didn't do anything stupid so I would just hold the throttle input and ride it out. I had traction control off and no ECutek traction control. Why, because that stuff don't work either since it is based off the factory ECU. I was manhandling that bitch, old school way.

Awesome speed man
They should have at least ran a blower down each lane to clear the sandy debris
Dragstrip s do a much better job; including the VHT (adhesive compounds) they will put on launch pads

You should see my car. We drove on the track for 30 to 40min in the morning to dry it out. My car needs washing again from all the white water spray that was kicked up.

jchammond brought up a good point. I am the fastest 370z in street trim (full interior) with DOT tires. Dynosty's car was an all out drag car with no interior, big as slicks, and downturns with no mufflers. The guy with the G35 that ran a 172.5 was also an all out drag car with slicks and no interior.

I am the fastest street trim 370z on DOT tires, period. JC says I have a new record.
I guess I do.

I doubt it. If they knew how I had to drive it to get that they would refuse. It was sketchy at the top end and traction was non existent. I could count the Trac Spec vent louvers on the hood the nose was so high in the air at the end of a run. I could steer it with one finger. That is something I will need to address. I am wonder if the Trac Spec vents aren't causing the problem. Hopefully Solidus will post some video's from YouTube shortly.
