Not happening.....LOL 93 octane is too boring.

It is the other stuff in there that you can't read that is the problem.

And the bad thing is, every tanker truck would be delivering completely different crap than the previous truck so who knows what you're getting each time.

I did have my injectors cleaned and tested before being put on the new motor because the car had pump E85 in the tank since December of last year. Paying that bill was a no brainer.

How did they test out prior to cleaning?

They have a tester at MA. I think they said they were fine. No issues.

Let me ask again. LOL

That's the thing that scares me the most is a partially or clogged injector(s). I do run a tank of sh1t (91 octane) every few tanks of e85 but of course I don't know if it's doing any good.

That is exactly why I had them tested and cleaned.

I actually had an injector go bad during my ordeal. Fortunately I can get "pump" e-85 delivered to me in a barrel straight from the transfer station so it should be clean since it is not coming from a tanker truck or stored in tank forever.

What comes from the refinery is mostly clean fuel. Over a period of time. The tanks at the gas station accumulate junk over time. Everytime a tanker dumps it load. It stirs all that chit up. It takes a couple of days for it to resettle. The kicker is how often does that tank get refilled? If it's every couple of days. The junk never fully settles out. If I remember right. The pick up pipe is about a foot from the bottom of the tank. This is to allow for a accumulation of water and junk. The station is required to stick the tanks daily to check for fuel level and water level. When the water gets to a predetermined level. They will come in and pump the water and junk out. Most tanks will have a few inches of water in them.

My brother used to own a gas station.

Lubrications properties in gasoline. This is per mazworx when I spoke with him. To each it’s own though

Injectors tested perfect. Perfectly matched and no spray pattern issues. The filter is doing it's job.

I’m gonna drag mine out a little, stockpiling part’s over the next several months to prevent the Super-Sizer checks all at once :wtf2:
Could be winter 2021 when Z gets back on rack for final assembly of errthing

Spooler 08-28-2020 12:14 PM

Just got off the phone with Mark at Mazworx. His statement was to turn it on up. He has pushed 40psi of boost on a VQ35DE done like mine.

I don't think words would describe how excited I'd be. Looking forward to hearing your results! I hope you hit the level you wanted without issues!

Nervous, I am not excited. When I get in the car and drive it I will get excited and then you won't be able to tell it. When I get out with the giggles after a hard pull is when it will show.

There will be a pause until Monday. The 93 oct. tune is done at 12psi of boost. It did 590hp. Now, it is time to drain the fuel and put in E90.
Tune will be finished up on Monday.

I have no idea what folks normally make on 93oct and 12psi of boost. I have no idea if it is good or bad. LMAO...

Consider you only made 605 on E last time is a huge upside.

My statement stands 930-950whp. Metal manifold it would aroind 1030 at 31-32 psi.
