I have the RPM 6 point - easily converted to 4 point or 5 point as needed just by removing the side bars.
Some things to consider:
Even tho' I have it configured as 4 point for normal driving I have the seat all of the way back and I'm not a large person. 5'9" and 155 lbs.
Another side note is that it further compromises being able to see out of the back window.
It cost about $2,500 and then another $1,795 to have MA-Motorsports install it.
Brian at MA designs custom roll bars per your specs. That, in my opinion, would be the better way to go. He could design it to accommodate your body size and also allow for better visibility out of the rear window < something you would really appreciate for daily driving.

I am also 5'9". I looked at your car when I took mine to MA. I saw the rollbar and was like, nah. I wasn't crazy about it. Getting Brian to make one won't be cheap at all. I have needed to move my seat up 2 clicks. If not, my foot will come off the go pedal when I get on it. I was going to do the install myself If I get one. Have you hit your head yet. LOL

I have an RPM 4 point rollbar in my Z. Bought it from Jenz who used to be on the forum years ago before she sold her Z. I paid $900 for it and her husband installed it for me. I have purchase the side bars and the cross bar to make it a 6 point and NASA and SCCA legal for time trials. The cost for those parts were $550. The fab and install is about $1000. There is no reason with your seat placement that your head should come in contact with the rear bar. If it does you wouldn't notice it because your neck would already be broken. There is a video of a guy crashing in a camaro after reaching 200 mph at a half mile event and walked away from it and he had an RPM 6 point roll bar. It did its job and did not collapse saving him and his passenger's life!!!

I know I need it. Ugg, May just do the 5 point instead. Hmm. Add some safety and stiffen the chassis at the same time.

Well, the wife told me if I mess up and don't have a rollbar she will burry my Arse with one just to make sure I have it when I'm dead. I guess I will getting a rollbar. LMAO. I have been out voted.

Well, first little issue I will have to deal with. Since I am a nut and don't care that it is 30 deg in the morning time I have noticed a small problem. The Z1 silicone radiator hoses are weeping coolant out at the CSF radiator connection and hose clamps. Since it is so cold the aluminum radiator is contracting causing a small leak. I first noticed it on my bottom radiator hose and today I noticed it on my top radiator hose. I will tighten the clamps and see if that will fix the issue. If not, I am going back to stock Nissan radiator hoses top and bottom. I guess nobody drives their 370ztt when it get's in the 30's. Go figure.

Small coolant leak has been resolved. Tightened the hose clamps with a 8mm 1/4 in. socket. No more issues. Fixed it last weekend.

No............I actually cork it. Build up enough pressure behind it after a while. Then shoot Spooler in the ear with it the cork.

New mod list to look at doing for 1/2 mile events.

1.) Upgrading to slicks, 15in or 17in. Leaning toward the 17in because I will not have to swap out rear brakes to the smaller base model brakes. Skinnies for the front.

2.) Raising my car up a little in the rear, changing rear springs, and setting camber to 0 deg. I need the car to be level at full tilt. It is lifting the front end to high at the moment. I will lower the front some too.

3.) I need motorsport grade traction control. I am upgrading to a Motec M150. I will also get boost by gear, true flat foot no lift shifting, and launch control.

4.) The input shaft on our transmissions is not going to take it. It is going to snap like a twig. So, I will be upgrading to a Hollinger Sequential. True flat foot shifting will work like a charm.

5.) I will have to retune due to the Motec. I will retune with Ignite Red. I will easily gain 60hp or more if I raise the Max boost level.

6.) I need an better intake. I will be upgrading to the CJ Motorsports billet intake and larger CAC.

7.) Installing a RPM rollbar, Recaro Halo seat, and 6 point harness.

8.) Aero, I will be installing Finite Element design front fender vents, Exhaust turndowns, and a real custom built diffuser. I may install a small splitter to balance out the aero.

9.) Since you can't do a burnout at some half mile events I will be getting tire warmers. Sticky Tires, Check....

10.) Almost forgot. I will be looking at upgrading to a OG 3.3 diff. I should be able to run 189mph in 5th.

Geez not playing games I see you will love the 3.3 diff especially for 1/2 mile plus with a input shaft that won't snap:drama:
